MobileSyrup and iPhone in Canada reported it on March 24–25, 2025 as an account-targeted promotion for select Bell Internet customers. The reported price included an Autopay discount, required bringing your own phone and included Crave Basic with Ads. Bell’s public Mobility page checked in August 2026 instead showed a different 100GB bundled price of $55 per month, so the old $39 rate is not confirmed as a current nationwide offer.
Your reliable test is to sign in to MyBell, inspect the offers attached to your Internet account and read the plan terms before accepting.
What the original $39 offer included
The promotion reported in March 2025 was described as a 100GB mobile plan with Bell 5G and 5G+ access. Its advertised price was $39 per month after the Autopay discount. It was a bring-your-own-phone (BYOD) offer aimed at selected Bell Internet customers and was reported to include Crave Basic with Ads.
- Price: $39 per month after Autopay, according to the historical reports.
- Data: 100GB of mobile data.
- Network: Bell 5G/5G+ access.
- Device: You supplied a compatible phone rather than receiving a subsidized or financed device as part of the offer.
- Entertainment: Crave Basic with Ads was reported as included.
- Audience: Select Bell Internet accounts, not every Bell subscriber.
MobileSyrup also listed other account-specific examples at the time, including $40 for 125GB with Canada/U.S./Mexico service, $45 for 125GB with Crave Basic with Ads, $50 for 200GB with Crave Basic with Ads and $55 for 200GB with Canada/U.S./Mexico service plus Crave. Those were historical examples, not a current Bell rate card. See the MobileSyrup report and iPhone in Canada’s report.

Is Bell still offering $39 for 100GB?
There is no public confirmation that the original $39 promotion remains generally available in August 2026. Bell’s current public Mobility page displays a 100GB plan at $55 per month when bundled with Bell Internet. Bell says the displayed price can include Internet-bundle, Autopay and promotional credits. The current featured version advertises 5G/5G+, speeds of up to 2Gbps until the high-speed allowance is used, reduced-speed data afterward and U.S. features on the applicable North American version.
Those current terms do not prove that the 2025 $39 plan has the same features, roaming or post-cap speed. Bell may still show an individualized $39 offer—or a successor promotion—inside MyBell, through email or through a retention representative. Treat the historical price as an account-specific promotional target, not as a guaranteed current public price.

Who could qualify?
The evidence supports targeted eligibility, not universal eligibility. Having Bell Internet was a prerequisite for the reported audience, but it did not guarantee that the offer would appear.
- Eligibility could vary by account, province, customer segment, billing history and campaign targeting.
- You might have needed to keep an eligible Bell Internet service to retain the bundle-related credit.
- The BYOD condition could exclude customers who wanted to finance a new phone through Bell.
- Existing Bell Mobility customers should not assume they qualify. They may see separate upgrade, retention, add-a-line or migration offers.
Bell distinguishes Internet-bundled, mobility-only and multi-line pricing on its plan pages, including its Internet-bundled plans and BYOD plans.

How to check your account
- Go to Bell’s website and sign in to MyBell.
- Open your account dashboard or services area and look for Mobility, wireless or personalized offers.
- Open the full offer details if a $39/100GB plan or a similar successor appears.
- Before ordering, confirm every condition in the checklist below.
- Save a screenshot or copy of the offer, including its expiry date and plan name.
- Ask Bell to repeat the recurring monthly charges and credits before you accept.
Offer-verification checklist
- Is the plan Canada-only, or does it include Canada/U.S. or Canada/U.S./Mexico service?
- Is Autopay required, and what is the price without that credit?
- Must you keep a particular Bell Internet tier or address?
- Is the phone required to be BYOD, unlocked and compatible?
- Is Crave Basic with Ads included indefinitely, for a fixed period or removable for a lower price?
- Are taxes, connection or activation charges extra?
- Can Bell increase the price or remove a promotional credit?
- What happens to the mobility price if you cancel, move, downgrade or change your Internet service?
What “$39 per month” may mean on the bill
The headline figure may be the result of several conditions rather than an unconditional base rate. The historical reports specifically tied it to Autopay and an eligible Bell Internet relationship. Your actual first bill could also contain taxes, regulatory charges, a connection fee or other one-time amounts.
Do not treat $39 as your final tax-included bill unless the written offer says so. Ask Bell to show the undiscounted rate, each recurring credit, the price if Autopay is removed and the price if Bell Internet is cancelled or changed.

Crave Basic with Ads
“Included” is not the same as a guaranteed free subscription forever. Confirm the tier, advertising, renewal period, whether you can remove it and whether the benefit ends when the qualifying Internet or mobility service changes. Value it only if you would otherwise pay for Crave; an unwanted ad-supported subscription does not reduce your real household cost.

The original $39 reports establish a 100GB 5G offer, but they do not establish that it included the U.S. roaming benefits shown on Bell’s current featured plans. Do not infer roaming from the data allowance.

| Feature | Historical $39 offer | Current public 100GB example |
|---|---|---|
| Availability | Reported for selected Bell Internet accounts in March 2025 | Public Bell page checked in August 2026 |
| Displayed price | $39/month after Autopay, if targeted to the account | $55/month with Bell Internet bundle, including displayed credits |
| Data | 100GB | 100GB |
| U.S./Mexico service | Not established; verify the account offer | U.S. calling, texting and 5GB/day U.S. roaming on the applicable displayed version |
| Post-allowance speed | Not established for the historical plan | Up to 512Kbps after the high-speed allowance, according to Bell’s current description |
| Phone requirement | Bring your own phone | Depends on the selected public plan |
If you travel to the United States, confirm whether roaming is included, charged daily, capped per day or excluded. Also check international texting and calls from Canada to foreign destinations separately.
What happens after 100GB?
Bell’s current public 100GB descriptions say data continues at up to 512Kbps after the high-speed allowance is consumed. That is enough for messaging and basic low-bandwidth tasks, but it is poor for high-quality video, large downloads and sustained hotspot use. Because Bell has not published the historical $39 plan agreement here, do not assume its post-cap terms were identical; check the plan-specific contract.
Is the deal good value?
Likely a good fit
- You already want to keep Bell Internet.
- You own a compatible unlocked phone.
- You use substantial Canadian data.
- You value Crave Basic with Ads and consolidated Bell billing.
- Your written offer confirms a stable all-in price that beats comparable service.
Potentially a poor fit
- You need Bell to finance a new phone.
- You travel frequently and require reliable North American roaming.
- You do not want Bell Internet or may cancel it soon.
- You need a guaranteed long-term price rather than a promotional credit.
- You use little data and could save with a smaller plan.
- You are paying more for Bell Internet than an equivalent alternative solely to obtain the mobile discount.
Families should compare the total account
Bell’s BYOD page shows lower average per-line figures for multiple lines. Compare the complete household bill—including every line, device payment, Internet service and credits—rather than comparing one $39 line with a family plan’s average.
Bottom line
Bell’s $39/100GB plan was a real, targeted promotion reported in March 2025 for select Bell Internet customers. It required BYOD and Autopay and was reported to include Crave Basic with Ads. Bell’s current public 100GB bundled price is different, at $55 per month on the page checked in August 2026. Sign in to MyBell, verify the exact credits, coverage, speed, Crave terms and Internet requirement, then compare the final bill before switching or adding a line.
