What was the BECIL 2024 recruitment notice?
A Scroll report dated April 3, 2024 described a BECIL recruitment drive with 54 posts in its headline. It named Medical Officer, Staff Nurse, Lab Attendant and other posts. The report available at Scroll does not provide a complete post-wise breakdown, so the number of openings for each role cannot be confirmed from that report.

The headline also mentions Pharmacist, but the accessible report does not establish a full list of roles or their individual vacancy counts. Treat the 54 figure as the reported total, not as a verified role-by-role vacancy table.
Is the application still open?
No. Scroll reported that applications were to be submitted online by April 9, 2024. That deadline has passed, and the 2024 notice is not a current application opportunity.

Where to find current BECIL vacancies
For newer opportunities, use BECIL’s official Vacancies page. It is a changing listings page, not evidence that the 2024 drive remains active or that every post in that drive has a particular outcome. BECIL’s page showed newer advertisements in October 2026 and listed October 7, 2026 as its last update.
BECIL cautions applicants: “Don’t give credence to Any person offering to Facilitate any BECIL matter Other than BECIL Authorise Person. For Authentication may call 0120-4177850.” Use the official site and contact number stated on that page to authenticate claims; do not pay an intermediary who promises to secure or facilitate a BECIL matter.

The original advertisement linked from the 2024 report is needed to verify role-specific eligibility, age limits, pay, posting locations, selection method and the exact vacancy count for each post. Those details are not established by the accessible report, so applicants should not rely on unsourced summaries for them.
