Bayer’s November 18, 2020 announcement described changes for the 2021 Bayer PLUS Rewards year—not offers available today. It added XtendiMax, Delaro Complete and Huskie FX to rewards, and added those products plus Roundup agricultural herbicides to a separate grower-financing program. Bayer now says PLUS Rewards has ended, with redemptions closed after April 30, 2026.
What Bayer announced for the 2021 program year
Bayer said three crop-protection products—XtendiMax with VaporGrip Technology, Delaro Complete Fungicide and Huskie FX Herbicide—would join Bayer PLUS Rewards for 2021. It also said the three products and Roundup brand agricultural herbicides would be included in the 2021 Bayer Crop Protection Grower Finance Program. Bayer characterized the financing as fixed 0%, but directed growers to a separate flyer for requirements; the announcement does not establish full terms or whether that financing continued beyond 2021. The announcement placed XtendiMax in the Roundup brand agricultural herbicides/XtendiMax incentive category. It also described two other historical benefits: qualifying Valent partner products could unlock an additional $1 per acre incentive on eligible Roundup purchases, and new or existing PLUS members who linked their accounts could receive a free one-year Climate FieldView Platform subscription, which Bayer valued at $99. These were 2021 offers, not current benefits. Bayer’s announcement
How 2021 Bayer PLUS Rewards worked
Qualifying dates and eligibility
The 2021 guide covered eligible purchases made from September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2021. Growers had to enroll by August 31, 2021, be in an eligible geography and buy through an authorized retailer. Alaska, California and Hawaii were excluded. Bayer’s 2021 program guide

Per-acre incentives
The guide’s Product Portfolio Incentives were tiered by the number of eligible products purchased. Additional add-on and partner incentives were subject to eligibility and matched-acre rules.
| 2021 incentive category | Guide amount |
|---|---|
| Any two eligible products | $3 per acre |
| Third eligible product | Additional $3 per acre |
| Fourth eligible product | Additional $4 per acre |
| Fifth eligible product | Additional $5 per acre |
| Eligible agronomic add-on | $0.50 per acre per eligible add-on |
| Eligible partner product | $2 per acre per eligible product |
| Eligible Roundup purchase with qualifying Valent partner products | Additional $1 per acre, as described in Bayer’s 2020 announcement |
These figures are historical program terms, not current rebates. The guide’s amounts and qualifications applied to eligible purchases and acres under its rules; they should not be read as a universal payment for any product or acreage. Bayer’s 2021 program guide

Redemption thresholds and deadlines
The 2021 guide required at least $1,500 in Bayer PLUS Rewards rebates, and a redemption request had to exceed $500. It said growers could request 50% of rewards beginning May 1, 2021 and 100% beginning November 1, 2021. Rewards expired April 30, 2022. Bayer’s 2021 program guide
What the XtendiMax terms meant
The 2021 guide listed XtendiMax at 22 fluid ounces per acre and required use with VaporGrip Xtra Agent or an approved equivalent vapor-reducing agent. It identified XtendiMax as a restricted-use pesticide and directed growers to follow the product label and confirm registration in their state. Registration and restrictions can vary by state; the historical incentive announcement is not product-use guidance. Bayer’s 2021 program guide

What is still available now?
Bayer’s current program pages state that Bayer PLUS Rewards, including Bayer PLUS Fruit and Vegetable, ended at the conclusion of the 2025 Market Year. The final redemption date was April 30, 2026, and the redemption window is now closed. The 2021 rewards, linked FieldView subscription and Valent incentive should therefore be treated as expired offers. Bayer PLUS Programs Overview · Bayer PLUS Rewards
The available announcement does not establish whether the separate Crop Protection Grower Finance Program continued after 2021, nor does it establish current rates, eligibility or repayment terms. A grower considering financing today should confirm current availability and complete terms directly with Bayer or an authorized retailer rather than rely on the old fixed-0% description.
