Azucena Jr. Public records identify print editions, including a 2021 tenth edition, but do not verify an authorized current PDF. The available record for the 2007 fifth edition specifically says “Digital Copy Not Available”; that applies to that catalog entry, not necessarily every edition or repository.
Is an authorized PDF available?
The records available for this title identify print books, not a verified authorized PDF download. That means availability of a PDF cannot be confirmed; it does not prove that no digital edition exists anywhere. The Philippine eLib catalog’s 2007 fifth-edition record says “Digital Copy Not Available,” but that is a statement about that edition’s catalog record only. Philippine eLib

Avoid relying on copies posted to file-sharing sites unless the publisher or rights holder authorizes them. If you need a digital version, ask Rex Book Store or another authorized bookseller whether one is offered for the edition you want.
What print edition do the records identify?
A 2023 university acquisition list identifies a tenth edition published in Manila by Rex Book Store in 2021. Public procurement records describe 2021 listings with different ISBNs, so confirm the details against the seller’s own listing before ordering.
#1 Best Overall
| Record | Edition and publication details | ISBN |
|---|---|---|
| Quezon City procurement document (2024) | 2021 tenth edition; clothbound; 755 pages | 9786210409024 |
| Southern Luzon State University request | 2021 book listing; format and page count not stated in the cited record | 978-621-04-0903-1 |
These are institutional acquisition or procurement descriptions, not confirmation that a particular seller currently has stock. Check that the listing matches the edition, ISBN, and format you intend to buy.
What kind of book is it?
Everyone’s Labor Code is a secondary reference about Philippine labor law, not the Labor Code itself. An earlier Rex catalog listing describes topics including general provisions, recruitment and placement, working conditions and rest periods, special groups of employees, and implementing rules. Because that contents list is not for the 2021 tenth edition, it should not be treated as a verified table of contents for that edition.

How does the book relate to Philippine labor law?
The Labor Code is Presidential Decree No. 442, as amended. Article 3 states: “The State shall afford protection to labor, promote full employment, ensure equal work opportunities regardless of sex, race or creed and regulate the relations between workers and employers.” The decree was issued by the Republic of the Philippines on May 1, 1974; its provisions have since been amended. Lawphil: Presidential Decree No. 442
For example, Republic Act No. 10151 repealed Articles 130 and 131 and added provisions on employment of night workers. Republic Act No. 11996 is another later statute that refers to protections under the Labor Code and other laws. A book edition or older codification may help explain the law, but it should not be treated as the final authority on a current legal question. What to check before buying
- Confirm that the listing is for the tenth edition from 2021 if that is the edition you want.
- Match the ISBN shown in the seller’s listing to the copy being sold; institutional records report more than one ISBN for 2021 listings.
- Check binding or format and any page-count description rather than assuming all listings describe the same copy.
- For a question about current rights or obligations, consult the governing law and applicable amendments, not only a secondary reference book.
