Why published box-office totals differ
Box-office databases do not report a single matching worldwide figure for the film. Box Office Mojo lists $1,485,999,890, while The Numbers lists $1,490,386,712. The reviewed sources do not explain the difference, so each figure should be read as that database’s reported total rather than a universally agreed final gross.
| Source and date | Domestic | International | Worldwide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Box Office Mojo, accessed October 7, 2026 | $404,340,010 | $1,081,659,880 | $1,485,999,890 |
| The Numbers, accessed October 7, 2026 | $404,340,010 | $1,086,046,702 | $1,490,386,712 |
Box Office Mojo’s title page and The Numbers’ title page provide the respective breakdowns. The identical domestic totals and different international totals account for the difference between these listed worldwide sums.
