Who is Rodrigo Caserta?
Before becoming CEO, Caserta was Avanade’s Global Technology Business Group Lead. The company’s announcement also noted that he had served as General Manager of Brazil and later as President of Growth Markets. Avanade said he joined nearly a decade before the appointment and that, in those leadership roles, he led revenue and headcount growth across APAC and Latin America. The announcement did not give numerical performance figures for those results.
Avanade Board Chair Karthik Narain, who was also group chief executive of Accenture Technology, described Caserta’s enterprise and mid-market experience and understanding of clients and employees as reasons for the appointment. That was the company’s stated rationale, not an independent assessment.

Is Rodrigo Caserta still Avanade’s CEO?
No. Avanade announced that Caserta stepped down effective February 3, 2026, to join Microsoft as Corporate Vice President, Small, Medium Enterprises & Channel, Americas. Chris Howarth became Avanade CEO that day. Avanade’s February 3, 2026 announcement
