Q2 FY27 advances, deposits and share moves
The operating figures below are provisional and were reported by Moneycontrol on October 5, 2026. Share prices are intraday levels, not closing prices. One lakh crore equals ₹100,000 crore.
| Bank | Advances | Deposits | Other reported figure | October 5 intraday move |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AU Small Finance Bank | Approximately ₹1.5 lakh crore; up 27.9% year on year | Approximately ₹1.7 lakh crore; up 28.6% year on year | Not stated in Moneycontrol’s report for this comparison | Rose 4.5% to an NSE intraday high of ₹1,033.90 |
| Bank of Baroda | Domestic: ₹11.88 lakh crore, up 13.5%; global: ₹15.12 lakh crore, up 18.3% | Domestic: ₹14.88 lakh crore, up 17%; global: ₹17.51 lakh crore, up 16.8% | Global business: ₹32.64 lakh crore, up 17.5% | Rose nearly 3% to an intraday high of ₹237.32 |
| YES Bank | ₹3.1 lakh crore; up 23.8% year on year | ₹3.54 lakh crore; up 19.5% year on year | CASA ratio: 30% as of September 30 | Rose 2.3% to an NSE intraday high of ₹21.23 |

All figures in the table are attributed to Moneycontrol’s October 5, 2026 report. Bank of Baroda’s domestic and global balances use different reporting scopes, so compare domestic with domestic or global with global—not one basis against the other. CASA figures were reported for YES Bank and Suryoday, but not consistently across all four banks.
Why did the shares rise?
The reported sequence is that the four banks’ shares rose after their Q2 business updates were reported. The available figures show year-on-year growth in advances and deposits at each lender, with growth rates varying by bank. They do not establish that those figures alone caused the price moves: intraday trading can reflect multiple factors, and the reported highs do not show where each share finished the session.

What the figures do—and do not—show
These are provisional business-update figures for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, not final audited quarterly results. Moneycontrol supplied the cross-bank numbers and intraday prices. Bank of Baroda’s stock-exchange disclosure page lists a filing titled “Provisional Business Figures Q2 30-09-2026.”
The reported advances and deposit balances also reflect banks of different sizes; raw amounts alone do not indicate which bank performed better. Growth rates offer a more direct comparison of the reported change, but they are not a full assessment of profitability, asset quality, funding costs or valuation. The reported intraday gains are not evidence of future returns or a buy-or-sell signal.
