Choose based on pocket placement and waistband
Salutation Stash: side pockets and a 7/8 cut
Salutation Stash is the clearer fit if you want pockets along the sides for small essentials. Athleta describes the pockets as bonded and the fabric as having medium compression. Its 7/8 designation corresponds to the inseams listed by size range: 25 inches regular/plus, 23 petite and 28 tall.
Elation: a higher waistband and a back pocket
Elation is distinguished by its ultra-high rise, three-layer waistband and limited seams. Its single back drop-in pocket is placed differently from Salutation’s side pockets. The full-length listing gives longer inseams: 27 inches regular/plus, 25 petite and 30 tall.

Check the exact Elation fabric variant
Elation’s composition is not identical across variants. Athleta lists solid fabric as 75% nylon/25% LYCRA, shine as 75% recycled polyester/25% LYCRA, and rib as 85% nylon/15% elastane. Use the composition on the precise style or color page rather than assuming one blend applies to every Elation legging.
