The ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9060 XT OC Edition 8GB (model PRIME-RX9060XT-O8G) was reported at $361 on Amazon on February 27, 2026—$58.99, or about 14%, below ASUS’s listed $419.99 price. That was the lowest price the report had seen for this specific model at the time, not a verified current price or a market-wide low. Check the live listing before buying; the available information does not establish whether $361 is still available.
What the $361 deal actually means
The deal concerned the three-fan ASUS Prime 8GB card, not the separate ASUS Dual 8GB model. Wccftech? No—the cited deal report was published by WePC and updated February 27, 2026; it described $361 as the best price it had seen for the Prime model at that time. The $58.99 saving is calculated against ASUS’s $419.99 U.S. price signal, and the approximately 14% discount is calculated from those two figures. Neither figure proves an all-time low across every seller or RX 9060 XT card.
ASUS’s retailer page lists Amazon for the Prime model, but a prior in-stock indication does not confirm today’s price or stock. Use the ASUS retailer page to reach the listing. Because there is no live listing check here, no current Amazon price, seller, fulfillment method, shipping estimate, coupon condition, or stock status can be confirmed.

Before checkout, verify that the item is new, identify the actual seller and fulfillment party, review the return terms, and confirm that the purchase qualifies for the warranty you expect. Amazon product listings can change sellers, conditions, and discounts; a headline price may depend on a coupon or other offer.

Is $361 a good price for this card?
It is a substantial cut from the ASUS Prime’s $419.99 listed price, but that is only one comparison. AMD’s launch announcement set starting suggested prices of $299 for the RX 9060 XT 8GB and $349 for the 16GB version. Those are launch reference prices, not guaranteed current retail prices for partner-board models. At $361, the Prime would be about $62 above the 8GB launch starting price and $12 above the 16GB launch starting price, so the extra memory deserves serious consideration.
ASUS also listed its two-fan Dual 8GB at $379.99 in its U.S. catalog. That makes the reported $361 Prime deal attractive against ASUS’s own price signals, but it does not show that the Prime is the cheapest RX 9060 XT available. Compare current prices for other partner cards and 16GB models before deciding.
For a personal-finance-minded purchase, set a maximum price based on your use rather than treating a markdown from one manufacturer’s list price as proof of value. If the Prime is still close to $361 and the 8GB capacity suits your games, the deal is more compelling. If it has moved toward $400, compare the Dual, competing models, and 16GB options instead.

What performance and specifications to expect
AMD identifies the RX 9060 XT as a 32-compute-unit RDNA 4 GPU with a 128-bit memory interface and 32MB of Infinity Cache. The 8GB model uses GDDR6 memory, has a boost clock up to 3.13GHz, and a total board power figure starting at 150W. These are GPU-family specifications from AMD, not independent benchmarks of this ASUS board.

No verified game-by-game frame rates, temperatures, noise measurements, or ray-tracing comparisons are established here.
The ASUS Prime’s three-fan design and OC Edition name identify its board configuration; they do not by themselves prove it is faster than the Dual or quieter or cooler in real use. For fit and power, confirm the exact card’s dimensions, slot thickness, connector, recommended power supply, and case clearance from the ASUS product information before ordering. Do not rely on specifications for another RX 9060 XT variant.

Is 8GB of VRAM enough?
Eight gigabytes can be a reasonable budget choice for 1080p gaming, especially with sensible texture settings and a buyer who expects to upgrade again in a few years. It is a tighter fit for newer games using large texture packs, 1440p ultra settings, demanding ray tracing, extensive mods, or workloads that benefit from more video memory. The issue is reduced headroom, not a guarantee that every game will run poorly.
Choose the 16GB version if you prioritize longer ownership, higher-resolution textures, or 1440p use and its live price premium is modest. AMD’s $349 launch starting price for the 16GB card was only $50 above the 8GB version’s $299 starting price, but partner-card street prices can differ substantially. Compare actual current prices rather than assuming that launch pricing determines today’s value.

Both are ASUS RX 9060 XT 8GB cards, but they are distinct products. The Prime is the three-fan model behind the reported deal; ASUS describes the Dual as a two-fan, 2.5-slot design. A shorter two-fan design may suit a case with less room, while the Prime’s larger cooler may appeal if it fits your build. Without independent testing, fan count alone does not establish cooling, noise, or sustained performance differences.

|---|---|---|---|
| ASUS Prime RX 9060 XT OC 8GB (PRIME-RX9060XT-O8G) | Three axial-tech fans | $419.99 listed; historical Amazon report at $361 | Consider when its live price is near the reported deal and the card fits |
| ASUS Dual RX 9060 XT 8GB | Two Axial-tech fans; 2.5-slot design | $379.99 listed | Compare for a potentially lower-cost or more compact ASUS option |
ASUS’s catalog shows multiple RX 9060 XT models and capacities, so check the full model name and memory size at checkout. The Prime 8GB deal price should not be attributed to the Dual or to a Prime 16GB card. See the ASUS U.S. AMD graphics-card listings and the ASUS Dual listing for the distinctions.

- 1080p-focused buyer: Consider the Prime if the live price is near $361, 8GB fits your game settings, and the card clears your case and power supply.
- 1440p or long-term builder: Compare the 16GB version directly. If its live premium is small, the extra memory headroom is likely more useful than saving a modest amount upfront.
- Lowest-price shopper: Check cheaper 8GB partner cards and the ASUS Dual. The Prime’s three-fan configuration may not justify extra cost if price is your priority.
- Compact-PC owner: Compare exact card dimensions and clearance; ASUS describes the Dual as a 2.5-slot, two-fan option, but verify all measurements for your case.
- Older 8GB-card upgrader: Consider whether you want more memory capacity as well as a newer GPU. Moving to another 8GB card does not provide the same VRAM headroom as choosing the 16GB model.
Bottom line on the Amazon price
The ASUS Prime RX 9060 XT OC Edition 8GB was reported at $361 on Amazon on February 27, 2026, a model-specific low seen by that coverage and a $58.99 reduction from ASUS’s $419.99 price signal. Treat that as historical, not current. At roughly that price, it can make sense for a 1080p buyer who accepts 8GB; for 1440p or longer ownership, compare live 16GB pricing first.
