Store ratings are high in the 2026 snapshots reviewed, yet they measure app users’ reported experiences—not whether astrology predictions are accurate. The practical question is whether a specific consultation is worth its price to you.
What AstroTalk offers
AstroTalk is an astrology consultation service available through an app and website. Google Play describes chat and call consultations, different reading formats, free horoscope and kundli features, and AstroMall, an in-app remedies store. The Google Play listing says users recharge a wallet to start a call. Google Play’s AstroTalk listing describes those features.
AstroTalk markets the service for questions such as “Meri shaadi kab hogi?” and “Mera career kab set hoga?” These are examples of relationship and career concerns the service addresses with astrology-based guidance; they are not verified forecasts.
AstroTalk ratings in 2026
Ratings differ by platform and region, so they should not be combined into one global score. In the 2026 listing snapshots reviewed, Google Play India showed 4.7 stars and approximately 16.8 lakh reviews; the listing showed an app update date of 5 September 2026. Apple’s India App Store listing showed 4.7 stars from 254,000 ratings, while its US listing showed 4.7 stars from 20,000 ratings. These store figures change over time and reflect separate user groups and review systems.

A high app rating can indicate that many reviewers liked aspects of the app or service, but it cannot establish that an astrologer’s prediction is objectively accurate. No independently published AstroTalk performance or customer-outcome study was established in the sources reviewed.
Trustpilot displayed a notice that AstroTalk’s rating was unavailable because of a breach of its guidelines and said it had removed a number of fake reviews. Its page also showed review percentages and individual reports. Given that notice, the Trustpilot breakdown is not a clean measure of overall satisfaction; app-store ratings are separate evidence and do not settle the reliability of either review system. Trustpilot’s AstroTalk page displays the notice.

Pros: convenience and choice
- Multiple ways to consult: The app listing describes chat and call options, so users can choose a format that suits them.
- Profiles to compare: Users can browse astrologers and choose whom to consult rather than being assigned a single provider.
- Additional features: The listing includes horoscope and kundli features alongside consultations.
- Positive user reports: Some app-store reviewers describe an easy-to-use interface, patient listening, and favorable support interactions. These are individual experiences, not proof of consistent service quality.
Cons: variable consultations and spending risk
- Per-minute charges can add up: A consultation’s cost depends on the selected astrologer’s rate and how long the interaction lasts. Users have reported high or hard-to-track spending and concerns about value.
- Quality is personal and uneven: Negative app-store and Trustpilot reports include vague or unsatisfactory readings. One person’s report does not establish a general pattern, and a positive review does not validate a prediction.
- Support and order complaints: Individual reports mention delayed orders, refund friction, and unhelpful customer support. The available reports do not verify how common these outcomes are.
It helps to separate three decisions: whether the app is easy to use, whether an individual astrologer’s style fits your needs, and whether the price and support experience feel acceptable. A good experience in one area does not guarantee the others.
What consultations cost—and how to check before starting
AstroTalk’s own review page says the first chat is free for five minutes, then charges the selected astrologer’s per-minute rate. The company describes ₹15–₹40 as a typical rate range and says a balance can start at ₹100. Treat these as AstroTalk’s representations, not an independently audited or guaranteed price schedule; the rate and terms shown for a particular astrologer or interaction may differ. Check the displayed billing terms before you start. AstroTalk’s reviews page describes its offer and pricing.
- Open the astrologer’s profile. Check the displayed per-minute rate and profile information before selecting a consultation.
- Confirm the offer applies. AstroTalk describes a five-minute free first chat; verify in the app whether it applies to your specific interaction.
- Check wallet deductions. The Google Play listing says users recharge a wallet to start a call. Review the in-app balance and billing terms so you understand how charges will be deducted.
- Decide your limit and ending point. Know how to end the session and how much you are willing to spend before beginning.
- Consider value, not just the rating. Read the astrologer’s profile and reviews, then decide whether the consultation is worth the price to you.
Privacy, astrologer screening, and refunds
AstroTalk’s official page says astrologers go through a four-step process involving identity and qualification proof, an interview, and a probation period with audits. The company also says chats are end-to-end encrypted, birth details are not sold or shared, and users can request a refund of minutes after rating a consultation below three stars. These are company claims; the sources reviewed do not establish an independent security audit or verify the outcome of each refund request. Google Play separately displays developer-provided data-safety declarations. Check the current privacy terms and refund conditions in the app before sharing personal information or relying on a refund.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is AstroTalk worth using?
AstroTalk may suit someone who wants an app-based way to compare astrologers and try a chat or call consultation, provided they are comfortable paying for astrology-based guidance and actively monitor the session’s cost. It is a weaker fit for anyone expecting a reliable prediction, guaranteed consultation quality, or a uniformly smooth refund and support experience. Treat store ratings as feedback about the app experience—not as evidence that the readings are true—and decide on a spending limit before you begin.
