The Assam Police Sub Inspector written-test results were reported as released on 6 March 2025. Candidates can use the State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam (SLPRB) portal named in the announcement, slprbassam.in, and sign in with their application number, name and date of birth. This was a written-test result, not a final selection or appointment list.
Which posts were included in the result?
The result covered four recruitment categories: Sub Inspector (Unarmed Branch), Sub Inspector of Police (Communication) in the Assam Police Radio Organisation, Sub Inspector (Armed Branch) in Assam Commando Battalions, and Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.). The recruitment drive listed 144 SI (UB) posts, 7 SI (Communication) posts, 51 SI (AB) posts and 1 Assistant Deputy Controller post; these are vacancy counts, not the number of candidates who passed. Scroll.in reported the categories and vacancy counts on 6 March 2025.

How to check the written-test result
- Go to the SLPRB Assam portal at slprbassam.in.
- Find the result or recruitment notice for the relevant post and written test. The historic direct result-file URL has not been verified, so use the portal rather than an unconfirmed deep link.
- Log in using your application number, name and date of birth, as specified in the notice.
- Check the result for your post category and save or print a copy for your records.
Result date and next stage
A notice dated 4 March 2025 said the written-test result would be uploaded at 11 a.m. on 6 March 2025; contemporaneous coverage reported its release on 6 March. The notice said candidates who qualified would proceed to the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the listed SI posts. The announcement therefore should not be read as confirmation of final selection or appointment. The notice is reproduced as a PDF by Adda247.
Where to look if the old result page is unavailable
The Government of Assam Home & Political Department maintains an SLPRB page with a route to recruitment results, but its indexed page does not identify this particular historical result file. If the old login or result is no longer available from the portal, use that official department page or contact SLPRB through its current official channels rather than relying on an unverified result link.
