Ashford.com combines a wide watch assortment with sales and discounts, but its value depends on the exact watch and the terms attached to it. Compare the same reference number at checkout, then weigh the warranty, return conditions, and delivery costs—not just the displayed markdown.
What Ashford.com sells
Ashford is an online retailer best known for watches, with adjacent categories including sunglasses, eyeglasses, jewelry, and accessories. Its watch catalog includes automatic, manual-wind, quartz, and chronograph styles, among others. Ashford says it has operated since 1997 and began selling branded eyewear in 2019. It describes its value proposition as buying inventory in volume and passing savings to customers. Sales, coupons, clearance listings, and featured deals reinforce that positioning, but they do not establish that Ashford is always the lowest-priced seller or that a listed discount reflects a typical market price.
How to judge the value of a specific watch
Make an apples-to-apples comparison rather than relying on a brand name or a percentage-off label. A similar-looking watch may be a different reference, condition, or package, and those differences can affect both price and buyer protections.

- Match the exact reference. Check the model or reference number, and confirm the condition and included packaging. Compare like with like.
- Compare the amount due. Use the checkout total, including delivery and any taxes shown. For an international order, account for duties and other charges presented at checkout.
- Identify the warranty. Confirm who provides it, how long it lasts, how repairs are handled, and what exclusions apply.
- Check return rights. Read the deadline, item-condition rules, authorization requirements, and any return-shipping costs for that item and destination.
- Check delivery terms. Review the shipping method, cost, estimated timing, and signature requirements before deciding whether the price is competitive.
Because offers and stock change, use Ashford’s live listing and checkout rather than treating any advertised price as permanent.
What Ashford says about authenticity and warranties
Ashford states, “All products sold on Ashford.com are 100% authentic, guaranteed.” Its About Us page says it sources inventory through authorized dealers or respected industry wholesalers and distributors. It also says its watches have no serial-number tampering and ship in original boxes with original packing. These are the retailer’s assurances, not an independent audit of every item or supplier. Ashford says watches may be covered by either a manufacturer’s warranty or an Ashford warranty. Do not assume a particular watch includes manufacturer coverage: check its listing or warranty information for the issuer, duration, repair route, and exclusions before buying.
Returns: deadlines and conditions
Ashford’s published policy allows returns of new items within 30 days of delivery and Certified Pre-Owned items within 14 days. Those windows are subject to the policy’s condition requirements, and a return authorization (RA) number is required. For a return based on personal preference, the customer pays return shipping. The policy also lists possible charges for late returns or missing authorization, plus a separate fee for prescription eyewear. Review the current returns policy for the item-specific requirements.

The policy says international orders are final sale while also referencing EU withdrawal guidance. That distinction makes the applicable terms important: international buyers should read the conditions for their country before ordering rather than assume the domestic return window applies.
Shipping costs and delivery details
For contiguous-US orders, Ashford’s posted policy lists free ground shipping for orders over $99 and a $5.99 ground charge below $99. Expedited shipping costs more. Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico have a separate listed standard rate. International shipping costs, taxes, duties, and fees are calculated at checkout. Ashford says orders over $500 USD require a delivery signature and that an address cannot be changed after checkout. Check the shipping policy and the live checkout total, since terms may change.
