What was the APSSB MTS (TCL) recruitment?
The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) listed its Multi-Tasking Staff [TCL] Examination-2024 advertisement on 26 December 2024. A board notice dated 2 January 2025 confirmed that Advertisement No. 09/2024 covered 82 vacancies in the Arunachal Pradesh Home Department. The posts were Sweeper, Barber, Cook and Water-Carrier. The vacancies were distributed across Tirap, Longding and Changlang, with district-level APST and unreserved conditions. The 82-post total does not mean every post was open to every applicant: APST vacancies were restricted to eligible APST candidates domiciled in the relevant district, with the specified ST Certificate and Permanent Resident Certificate. Unreserved vacancies also carried residence or education-document conditions. The original advertisement’s post code and district details governed eligibility for each vacancy.
Eligibility stated in the notification
- Education: Class X pass, ITI or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or institution.
- Age: 18 to 35 years as of 25 January 2025, with relaxations described in the notification.
- Citizenship: Indian citizenship was required.
The notification said eligibility was determined as of the application closing date. Applicants needed to meet the conditions for the particular post and district, not just the general requirements above. Notification and exam details

Online applications were accepted from 9 January through 25 January 2025. The deadline was 3:00 p.m. on 25 January. The application period has ended.

Written exam pattern and subjects
The notification described a two-hour objective multiple-choice written examination worth 200 marks. Each of its four subjects carried 50 marks. Result and recruitment status
APSSB’s notice index lists an MTS [TCL] document-verification notice dated 10 March 2025, a final result notice dated 19 March 2025, and an answer-sheet/mark-sheet viewing notice dated 1 April 2025. The final result notice is the latest verified recruitment-status milestone stated here. The notices do not, by themselves, confirm that appointments were completed.
