The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) recruitment listing shows an application deadline of 8 October 2026 at 3 p.m.—not 7 October. But official APSSB notices dated in late September show that the CHSLE 2026 selection process had already reached the provisional-result and typing-test/document-verification stages. That conflict means the listing alone does not confirm that new applications are being accepted. Check the live portal before relying on the deadline or attempting to apply.

Official APSSB CHSLE 2026 apply link

Use the APSSB recruitment listing and select its “Log In” apply control for “Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination – 2026.” APSSB instructs candidates to read the detailed advertisement before filling out the Online Recruitment Application. The advertisement index identifies the CHSLE 2026 advertisement as published on 9 June 2026.

Before entering personal details, confirm that the portal actually accepts a new application. If the form is unavailable, closed, or inconsistent with the listing, check APSSB’s current notices rather than assuming the displayed date means registration is open.

Why the listed deadline is in doubt

The recruitment listing displays a closing date and time of 8 October 2026 at 3 p.m. The official APSSB notice index, however, shows a provisional result notice for CHSLE 2026 dated 27 September, an answer-key challenge notice dated 28 September, and a batch-wise typing-test and document-verification schedule dated 29 September. Those later-stage notices are difficult to reconcile with an application deadline in October.

A secondary-hosted copy of the June advertisement on Scribd says the original application window ran from 20 July to 10 August 2026 at 5 p.m. and gives 20 September 2026 as the tentative written-exam date. Treat that as context only: the APSSB advertisement PDF itself is not available to verify those details here, and the board’s own advertisement index confirms only that its notice was posted on 9 June.

As a result, whether APSSB is currently accepting new applications is unresolved by the official page text. The deadline shown on the recruitment listing is not, by itself, proof that a new submission can be made.

If the portal accepts a new application

  1. Open the official recruitment listing, choose the CHSLE 2026 “Log In” apply control, and read the detailed advertisement first. Confirm that you meet its eligibility requirements.

  2. Enter a working mobile number and email address. APSSB says correspondence is sent by email, so use contact details you can access.

  3. Review every entry before submission. APSSB warns that incorrect information may lead to rejection or debarment. Its FAQ says applicants may edit details until the deadline except for applicant name, father’s name, and date of birth.

  4. Complete any applicable payment and verify that the application appears under “My Finally Submitted Application” before the deadline. APSSB says an application is final only when it appears there.

  5. Keep a printout of the finally submitted application and payment details, where applicable.

Where to check for updates or payment help

Check APSSB’s official FAQ and current notices for updates. The FAQ directs candidates to apssb.nic.in and its “Apply” control for exam registration. It lists [email protected] and 09485231286, 06009562429, and 0360-2291251 for payment issues during working hours; verify those contact details on the live FAQ before using them.
