The APSC application window for 16 Plant Manager and equivalent posts in Assam’s Dairy Development Department ran from March 6 to April 5, 2024, and is closed. The dates and vacancy count were reported by Scroll.in; this is a historical notice, not a current opportunity to apply.

Which APSC posts were announced?

In a February 26, 2024 report, Scroll.in said the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) invited applications for 16 vacancies under the Dairy Development Department, Assam. The posts were described as Class-I, Class-B Junior Grade and included:

  • Plant Manager
  • Chilling Plant Supervisor
  • Milk Tester
  • Assistant Rural Dairy Extension Officer (ARDEO)
  • Assistant Distribution Officer (ADO)

The report gives one total vacancy figure, not a separate count for each post. It does not provide post-by-post duties or pay details. Read Scroll.in’s February 26, 2024 report.

When did applications open and close?

According to Scroll.in, online applications were accepted from March 6 through April 5, 2024, via the APSC website. The deadline has passed. The available information does not establish whether it was extended or what happened after applications closed.

What eligibility did the report list?

Scroll.in reported that applicants had to be 21–38 years old as of January 1, 2024, and hold at least a degree in Dairy Technology from a recognized university or institution. These details are attributed to the report: the linked APSC notification did not load when checked, so the eligibility terms could not be verified against the primary document. The report does not specify separate eligibility requirements for individual posts. See Scroll.in’s reported eligibility and fee details.
