When was the APSC CCE Mains 2023 admit card released?
Hindustan Times and The Telegraph reported on July 6, 2024, that the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) had released the e-admission certificate for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains 2023. Hindustan Times and The Telegraph reported the release that day.
An earlier schedule report published May 21 said the certificates were planned for upload on July 5. That was the announced upload date; subsequent reports put the actual release on July 6. July 26 was the first exam day, not the admit-card release date. Scroll
When did the exam commence, and what was the paper schedule?

Who could download the e-admission certificate?
The Telegraph reported that candidates who qualified the CCE Preliminary examination were eligible to sit the Mains. Contemporaneous reports directed eligible candidates to APSC’s website to access the e-admission certificate. The reported steps were:
- Visit the APSC website and open the call-letter or admit-card option.
- Select “Combined Competitive (Main) Examination 2023.”
- Enter the application number or roll number and date of birth, as requested.
- Download the e-admission certificate and print it if needed.
These are instructions reported for the 2024 examination cycle, not current-cycle guidance. The Scroll report quoted the APSC notification as saying that e-admission certificates would not be sent separately by post. Scroll

What was the reported vacancy count?
Careers360 described the 2024 APSC recruitment drive as covering 235 vacancies across Assam Civil Services, Assam Police Services and other APSC departments. That figure relates to the reported 2024 recruitment drive; it is not a current vacancy total.
