Eligibility requirements reported for the recruitment
The available summaries describe a recognized bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce, with marks and subject conditions that varied by degree. The precise wording in the official advertisement should govern; the summaries are not a substitute for checking its requirements.
Degree and marks
- For B.Com graduates, the reported requirement included 55% aggregate marks or an applicable major-subject alternative.
- For Arts or Science graduates, the reported conditions included 55% marks and mathematics or statistics requirements.
- A secondary recruitment listing reported a 50% threshold for SC/ST and departmental candidates.
Age and category relaxations
The reported age range was 21 to 38 years, calculated as of January 1, 2024. The secondary listing reported upper-age relaxations of five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC/MOBC candidates, and ten years for PwBD candidates, with separate provisions for ex-servicemen. Check the original advertisement for precise category rules and exceptions.

- Computer proficiency: the secondary listing reported a computer-application proficiency requirement supported by a diploma of at least three months.
- Assam connection: the listing said candidates needed either a Permanent Resident Certificate for educational purposes or an Assam Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

A reproduced notice attributed to APSC, dated March 1, 2025, scheduled a screening test for March 23, 2025. The copy lists these sessions:
