The March 17, 2025, admit-card date applied to the Assam Public Service Commission’s Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) recruitment for Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL), not to every AAO recruitment. APDCL’s screening test was scheduled for March 23, 2025, in two sessions. A separate AAO recruitment for Assam Electricity Grid Corporation Limited (AEGCL) had an April 6 exam and admit cards reported from April 1. Both schedules are historical.
APDCL AAO exam schedule and admit card date
For Advertisement No. 13/2024, APSC’s APDCL Assistant Accounts Officer screening test was scheduled for March 23, 2025. Scroll reported that eligible candidates could download their hall tickets from the APSC website starting March 17. The report listed 69 vacancies. Read Scroll’s March 18, 2025 report.

How the AEGCL recruitment differed
AEGCL’s AAO recruitment was a separate process, with its own admit-card and exam dates. Its April 1 admit-card date was not the March 17 date reported for APDCL. The listing reported 61 AEGCL posts, compared with Scroll’s 69 for APDCL; the combined 130 figure in the listing reflects those two reported vacancy counts, not one shared recruitment or exam.
What candidates were told about downloading the APDCL hall ticket
Scroll described using the admit-card link on the APSC website, entering login details, submitting the form, then downloading and printing the hall ticket. The report does not establish specific login-field requirements, and the original APSC notice was not available in the cited page. The 2025 download route may no longer be active.
Where the recruitment stood after the exams
These are past exam dates, not an upcoming APSC AAO schedule. AEGCL later published a notice dated November 18, 2025, concerning document verification for AAO and Sahayak candidates provisionally selected in the respective processes. View AEGCL’s November 18, 2025 document-verification notice.
