The APPSC Forest Range Officer (FRO) screening test under Notification No. 11/2024 was scheduled for 16 March 2025, FN (forenoon), at the erstwhile 13 district centres. Hall tickets were scheduled to be hosted on 10 March 2025. Both dates have passed; this is a historical update, not a live hall-ticket notice.
What were the APPSC FRO exam and hall-ticket dates?
The screening test was scheduled for 16 March 2025 FN. The notice wording reproduced by Scroll described it as an online CBT and specified the “erstwhile 13 district centers.” That historical phrasing should not be read as a description of current district boundaries. Scroll reported the dates on 7 March 2025: Scroll’s 7 March 2025 announcement.

Hall tickets were to be hosted on 10 March 2025 on the Commission’s website. APPSC’s announcement listing records the FRO screening-test hall-ticket item as published that day: APPSC official website.
Is the March 2025 hall ticket still relevant?
No. APPSC’s announcements listing later included a screening-test result notification dated 30 April 2025, and its examination calendar listed an FRO mains schedule note dated 13 May 2025. Those later milestones confirm that the screening test is over. The calendar is available on APPSC’s official website.

The old download instructions—open the APPSC site, choose the FRO hall-ticket link, enter login details, download, and print—were for that completed screening test. They should not be treated as a working route to a current hall ticket. For any later examination or recruitment stage, check APPSC’s current official announcements or candidate login.

Scroll reported 37 vacancies for the recruitment drive in its March 2025 coverage. APPSC’s indexed listing later showed a provisional vacancy-breakup notice for Forest Range Officers under Notification No. 11/2024, dated 27 September 2026. The listing alone does not establish a revised vacancy total or the recruitment’s current stage, so the 37 figure should be treated as the number reported in 2025, not a verified current count. Check APPSC’s official website for the details in any current notice.
