That date has passed. The screening test was reported for September 7, 2025, so this is not a current release announcement.
Which APPSC admit card did the 2025 report cover?
Here, APPSC means the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, not the similarly abbreviated Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. Scroll.in’s August 29, 2025 report said hall tickets were available through the Andhra Pradesh commission’s website, psc.ap.gov.in. The report associated FBO and ABO with Advertisement No. 06/2025 and FSO with Advertisement No. 07/2025. Scroll.in’s report is the source for these dates and details; the original APPSC hall-ticket notice was not retrieved.
| Post | Advertisement number reported | Vacancies reported by Scroll.in |
|---|---|---|
| Forest Beat Officer (FBO) | 06/2025 | 256 |
| Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) | 06/2025 | 435 |
| Forest Section Officer (FSO) | 07/2025 | 100 |
The vacancy counts are figures reported by Scroll.in, not independently confirmed here against APPSC notifications.
What were the reported exam details?
Scroll.in reported that the objective-type screening test was scheduled for September 7, 2025, offline in the state’s then 13 districts. Both the release and exam dates are historical. Check APPSC’s official site for archived notices or information about a later recruitment cycle.

How to find the relevant hall-ticket information
- Go to the official Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission website: psc.ap.gov.in.
- Look for the notice or hall-ticket link matching your post and advertisement: FBO or ABO, Advertisement No. 06/2025; FSO, Advertisement No. 07/2025.
- Use the instructions on the official page if the relevant notice or archive remains available. The news report said candidates would use a relevant hall-ticket link and enter login details, but did not specify the fields or confirm current portal availability.
If the 2025 link is no longer available, use the commission’s official site to look for an archive or contact details rather than relying on an unrelated commission or an unverified download page.

The original APPSC hall-ticket notification was not retrieved. Consequently, the exact login credentials, download deadline, correction process, exam venue, reporting time, identity documents and exam-day restrictions are not established here. Confirm such details from the official notice or the individual hall ticket; do not infer them from general exam guidance.

In particular, search results for Arunachal Pradesh PSC concern a separate commission and do not establish anything about Andhra Pradesh’s FBO, ABO or FSO recruitment.
