Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) advertised 140 posts through APPSCCE-2024. Registration is closed: applications were due by 5 p.m. on 10 November 2024, and the preliminary examination was scheduled for 15 December 2024. APPSC’s official portal now lists an APPSCCE-2026 advertisement, so anyone seeking a current opportunity should use that notice—not the expired 2024 terms.
How many vacancies did APPSC CCE 2024 offer?
APPSC’s advertisement for APPSCCE-2024 listed 140 vacancies across the advertised Arunachal Pradesh services and posts. The notice set out allocations for APST, unreserved and PwBD candidates and said the vacancy figures were based on requisitions from state departments. When did registration open, and what was the deadline?
APPSC issued the advertisement on 10 October 2024. Applications had to be submitted online by 5 p.m. on 10 November 2024. The preliminary examination was scheduled for 15 December 2024. All those dates have passed; registration for APPSCCE-2024 is not open.
How did the 2024 application process work?
The notice required candidates to complete One Time Registration (OTR) before filling in the online application. APPSC advised submitting only one application. If a candidate submitted more than one, the application with the highest Registration ID would be considered, and a fee paid under one ID would not transfer to another.

What were the 2024 eligibility requirements?
Under the 2024 notice, candidates generally had to be 21–35 years old on the application deadline and hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. The notice provided category-based age relaxations, including up to five years for APST candidates and up to 10 years for PwBD candidates; APST candidates with PwBD status could receive up to 15 years. Eligibility can depend on individual circumstances, so candidates should consult the full advertisement rather than rely on this summary.
What was the application fee?
The 2024 advertisement listed an online fee of ₹150 for APST candidates and ₹200 for other candidates. PwD candidates were exempt under the disability rules cited in the notice. These were fees for the 2024 cycle only; check the relevant current advertisement for any later cycle’s fee and exemptions.

The prelims consisted of two objective papers, each listed for 200 marks and two hours:

- Aptitude Test/CSAT: 200 marks, two hours. CSAT was qualifying, with a minimum required score of 33%; its marks did not count toward qualifying for mains.
Candidates had to appear in both papers. The notice specified one-third negative marking for wrong answers in objective papers. Prelims marks were for screening and did not count toward final merit. The stated question standard was degree level.
Mains examination and interview
Mains comprised eight subjective written papers. Candidates who reached the prescribed written threshold proceeded to the interview or viva voce. The commission referred candidates to the APPSCCE rules and syllabus notified in 2019, as amended by a Government of Arunachal Pradesh notification dated 13 March 2024.
Where can candidates find current APPSC CCE information?
As of 7 October 2026, APPSC’s official portal lists an APPSCCE-2026 advertisement. The terms of the 2024 notice should not be treated as current rules: consult the 2026 advertisement itself for its vacancies, application schedule, eligibility, fees and any amendments. The portal also lists APPSCCE-2024 mains question-cum-answer booklets, which may be useful to candidates reviewing past papers. The official portal is available at appsc.gov.in.
