Not everywhere—and “free AirPods” can be misleading. Apple’s education promotions vary by country and date. The cited U.S. and India College Student Offer 2026 ended September 24, 2026. India’s offer discounted selected accessories; the cited U.S. offer used an Apple Gift Card. Apple’s Saudi Arabia and UAE student offers were scheduled to run through October 22, 2026, but also used Gift Cards rather than the same AirPods promotion. Check your country’s current terms before buying.
What Apple’s 2026 education offers included
The terms below are country-specific examples, not a worldwide offer. Apple’s U.S. and India College Student Offer 2026 ran July 16 through September 24, 2026. The cited Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates University Student Offer terms ran August 13 through October 22, 2026. The latter end date had not passed as of October 7, 2026; check Apple’s local terms for current availability.

|---|---|---|
| United States, July 16–September 24, 2026 | MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPad Air and iPad Pro | Apple Gift Card promotion product. Customers were charged for all items in the cart. Apple’s terms say the promotion product “is redeemable for future purchase(s) only and is not a ‘gift.’” Apple U.S. College Student Offer 2026 terms. |
| India, July 16–September 24, 2026 | MacBook Air and MacBook Pro; iPad Air and iPad Pro | Selected accessories with promotion savings; purchasers paid for all items and received the listed savings. Apple India College Student Offer 2026 terms. |

The cited terms establish these specific offers only. They do not establish that an AirPods promotion is active in every country or that the same models, eligibility rules, or dates apply elsewhere.
When an accessory offer is not actually free
Apple’s India Education Store described its offer as: “Buy Mac or iPad with education savings, get AirPods with Mac and Apple Pencil with iPad.” That wording applied to Apple’s India Education Store page accessed October 7, 2026, not to every market. The detailed terms say buyers were charged for all items and received promotion savings on the listed accessory. A discounted accessory is not the same as a complimentary one.

How to check whether an offer applies to your purchase
- Open Apple’s Education Store for your country and look for a current promotion. For India, Apple’s page was displaying a limited-time Mac/iPad offer as of October 7, 2026: Apple India Education Store.
- Open the linked promotion terms and confirm the start and end dates, eligible device models, and exact accessory or Gift Card. A banner alone does not establish the offer mechanics.
- Check who qualifies, how education status is verified, and whether the purchase must be made through a specified Apple channel.
- Before payment, review the cart and promotion line: confirm whether the accessory is discounted, whether a Gift Card is issued for future purchases, and what you are charged now.
- Read the terms for quantity or supply limits, returns, exchanges and whether the offer can be combined with other promotions. The cited material here does not establish those conditions uniformly across the four markets, so check the applicable local terms.
Why country and date matter
Apple’s India page and terms describe a different promotion product from the cited U.S., Saudi Arabian and UAE terms. Even within the same year, one market may offer savings on a selected accessory while another issues a Gift Card. Apple’s education pages, product lineups, banners and promotion dates can change, so a past offer is not evidence that the same deal is available now.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
