Pre-orders in India opened on September 15 at 5:30 p.m. IST, and all four models went on sale on September 22. The prices below are the original India launch prices from September 2023—not current August 2026 prices.
What were the iPhone 15 series launch prices in India?
These were Apple’s original India launch prices. Each price is for the model’s base storage configuration; the Pro Max started at 256GB, not 128GB.
| Model | Base storage | India launch price |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone 15 | 128GB | ₹79,900 |
| iPhone 15 Plus | 128GB | ₹89,900 |
| iPhone 15 Pro | 128GB | ₹1,34,900 |
| iPhone 15 Pro Max | 256GB | ₹1,59,900 |
Apple’s India announcement listed the iPhone 15 Pro at ₹1,34,900. Some launch-era secondary reports cited ₹1,39,900; the official Apple figure is the appropriate reference for its announced starting price. The Pro Max’s higher starting price also reflects its 256GB base storage, compared with 128GB for the Pro. Apple’s Pro lineup announcement gives the official Pro pricing and configurations; launch coverage recorded the standard models’ prices. Gadgets 360’s launch report

General availability on September 22 also did not guarantee that every pre-order configuration would be delivered that day; delivery timing could differ by colour, storage, location and stock.
