These Apple Cyber Monday deals are expired. The headline referred to a deal roundup published on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, when “end today” meant Dec. 2—not the current shopping period. Unless a retailer independently relists an equivalent offer, the prices below should be treated only as historical reference points.
The strongest reported bargains were the $69.99 AirTag four-pack, the M2 iPad Air at $499, the M2 MacBook Air at $799 and several M4 MacBook Pro configurations discounted by about $200 to $300. The original roundup covered retailer promotions rather than one universal Apple.com sale.

Best overall value: M2 iPad Air, 128GB Wi‐Fi for $499. This was the most broadly attractive iPad offer because it paired a modern M2 processor with a meaningful $100 discount. Apple launched the 11-inch 2024 iPad Air at $599 in the U.S.; a 13-inch version started at $799, according to Apple’s launch announcement.

The cheaper options were:
- iPad 9th generation, 64GB Wi‐Fi: $199.99, a reported $130 saving. This was a basic-use or closeout option, but its older design, Lightning connector and shorter remaining support horizon made the low price important.
- iPad 10th generation, 64GB Wi‐Fi: $259, a reported $90 saving. It was a better fit for shoppers who wanted the newer design but could accept base storage and older hardware than the iPad Air.
- iPad mini 7, 128GB Wi‐Fi: $469, a reported $30 saving. The small size was the main reason to choose it; the discount itself was modest.
The iPad Pro discounts were larger, but they were not automatically better values:
- 11-inch M4, 256GB Wi‐Fi: $849, reported $150 off; the price reportedly required an on-page coupon.
- 11-inch M4, 512GB Wi‐Fi: $1,099, reported $100 off.
- 13-inch M4, 256GB Wi‐Fi: $1,099, reported $200 off.
- 13-inch M4, 2TB Wi‐Fi: $1,899, reported $400 off.
The Pro models made the most sense for buyers specifically seeking high-end creative performance, a larger display, ProMotion or OLED-class hardware. For browsing, streaming, note-taking and ordinary schoolwork, the iPad Air was the more sensible target.
Budget for the complete setup. Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard, a case, cellular connectivity and additional storage can materially change the effective price. A discounted tablet is not necessarily a bargain if the buyer needs several expensive accessories to use it as intended.

MacBook Air
Value pick: M2 MacBook Air, 13-inch, 16GB/256GB for $799. The M3 13-inch model with the same memory and storage was reported at $899, also $200 off. The M3 was the better choice for shoppers who valued the newer generation, while the M2 offered the lower entry price.
Other reported MacBook Air prices included:
- M3 13-inch, 16GB/512GB: $1,099, $200 off.
- M3 15-inch, 16GB/256GB: $1,044, $255 off.
- M3 15-inch, 16GB/512GB: $1,234, $265 off.
- M3 15-inch, 24GB/512GB: $1,424, $275 off.
Do not compare these solely by chip name. Memory, SSD capacity and screen size affect how long the laptop remains comfortable to use. A 16GB/512GB M3 configuration may be preferable to a cheaper base model for someone keeping large files locally or running more demanding applications.
MacBook Pro
The reported discounts were approximately $200 on M4 14-inch models, $250 on M4 Pro 14-inch configurations, $300 on M4 Max 14-inch models, $250 to $300 on M4 Pro 16-inch models and about $300 on M4 Max 16-inch models. Closeout M3 Pro configurations were reportedly discounted by as much as $600.

The newest M4 MacBook Pro deals were notable because those machines were relatively new in December 2024. A closeout M3 Pro model could nevertheless be the better financial choice if it offered substantially more memory or storage for the same budget. A larger dollar discount on an expensive M4 Max configuration does not make it a better buy for ordinary office work.

The $529 Mac mini was the desktop value pick only for someone who already owned—or was prepared to buy—a monitor, keyboard, mouse and any required adapters. An iMac costs more partly because it includes the display and input devices. Mac Studio discounts were aimed at specialist users and were not mainstream bargains.
The best AirTag deal
Best accessory value: AirTag four-pack for $69.99. The reported $30 discount brought the price to about $17.50 per tracker before tax, compared with $24 for an individual AirTag, a reported $5 saving.

Buy the four-pack only if you have four realistic uses, such as keys, luggage, a wallet and a frequently transported bag. Holders, loops and key rings cost extra, so include them in the total. AirTag is designed for Apple users: Apple’s current AirTag buying page says it requires an Apple Account and an iPhone running iOS 26.0 or later or an iPad running iPadOS 26.0 or later. That is a current compatibility requirement and should not be assumed to describe the requirements in December 2024. Apple’s unwanted-tracking protections also matter when deciding where and how to use a tracker.

- Instant markdown: the checkout price is reduced automatically.
- On-page coupon: the shopper must clip or apply a coupon; at least one reported iPad Pro price had this condition.
- Gift-card promotion: the hardware price may remain unchanged while the buyer receives future store credit. That is not equivalent to an immediate price reduction.
- Carrier promotion: the apparent savings may require a trade-in, installment plan, new line or service commitment.
- Trade-in: the value depends on the old device and its condition.
Before buying from a retailer, confirm the exact seller, fulfillment method, condition, return window, warranty status, color and stock. Marketplace listings can resemble the retailer’s own offer while carrying different terms. Also verify that the listed configuration matches: storage, RAM, screen size, Wi‐Fi versus cellular and chip tier.

What to buy—and what to skip
- Best mainstream iPad: the M2 iPad Air at $499, based on its balance of modern hardware and discount.
- Best low-cost iPad: the 10th-generation iPad at $259 if the buyer accepts base storage and older hardware; the 9th-generation model was cheaper but much older.
- Best AirTag value: the four-pack at $69.99 for buyers who need multiple trackers.
- Best portable Mac value: the M2 MacBook Air at $799 for the lowest cost, or the M3 Air at $899 for the newer generation.
- Best desktop value: the M4 Mac mini at $529 for buyers who already have a monitor and peripherals.
- Best professional deal: a discounted M4 Pro MacBook Pro, provided its memory, storage and sustained-workload performance fit the buyer’s needs.
Skip a deal when the product is too old for the intended ownership period, the required accessories erase the saving, or the discount depends on a service commitment you would not otherwise choose.
Where to shop now
Because these Cyber Monday prices are historical, do not attach current purchase expectations to them. For present-day availability, compare the Apple iPad store, Apple Mac store and Apple AirTag store with major retailers. Apple’s buying pages may offer trade-in credit, financing, education pricing, Apple Card benefits, certified-refurbished inventory and support services rather than the same instant markdowns found at retailers. Check the actual checkout price, current operating-system compatibility, return policy and whether an offer is new, refurbished, open-box or carrier-dependent.
