The two Apple Card offers described in a September 7, 2024 report have expired. 9to5Mac reported one offer for new cardholders and a separate, targeted Apple Card Family offer for existing cardholders, with September 21 and September 17, 2024 deadlines, respectively. Apple’s current product page does not list either $200 promotion, so its availability today is unverified.
What were the two reported $200 Apple Card offers?
They were separate promotions, not two ways to claim one shared bonus. The September 7, 2024 9to5Mac report described a monthly spending offer for new cardholders and a targeted family-member offer for some existing cardholders. The reported terms and deadlines are historical; the report is a secondary source, not the original issuer offer terms.

How did the new-cardholder offer reportedly work?
According to 9to5Mac, a new primary cardholder could earn $20 Daily Cash for each month in which they made at least 10 Apple Card purchases, up to $200. That structure required qualifying in multiple months to reach the maximum; the report did not describe it as an automatic $200 signup payment. Purchases by co-owners or participants did not count toward the primary cardholder’s monthly purchase count.
How did the Apple Card Family offer reportedly work?
The report described this as a targeted offer for existing cardholders. It said a qualifying co-owner who spent $100 within their first 30 days could earn $100 Daily Cash. The cardholder could also add up to four participants, with each earning a reported $25 after spending $25 within their own first 30 days. With the co-owner and four qualifying participants, the reported total could reach $200. The report advised readers to check their email or Wallet for eligibility.

Can you still get either $200 bonus?
The reported deadlines—September 21 for the new-cardholder offer and September 17 for the family offer—have passed. Apple’s current Apple Card page describes ongoing rewards and Apple Card Family but does not list these promotions. Whether Apple has a successor offer is not established by the available sources; check current offer terms directly in Wallet or with Apple before applying or changing account membership.

Apple also says the card has no annual, over-the-limit, foreign-transaction, or late fees. These are product-page statements, not additional terms of the 2024 bonus offers.
