The APY is variable, so it can change again.
What is the Apple Card Savings account interest rate?
Apple’s Savings page lists a 3.50% annual percentage yield (APY), dated September 23, 2026. Apple says the APY may change at any time, before or after an account is opened, so this figure is a dated snapshot rather than a guaranteed ongoing rate. Apple’s Savings page

The April decrease should therefore be understood as one point in a changing rate history, not as the direction of the most recent move. The available reporting does not establish why Apple made the April change; it should not be attributed to a particular Federal Reserve decision.
How Apple Card Savings works
The account is provided by Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch, Member FDIC, and is available to eligible Apple Card owners and co-owners. Apple says it has no fees or minimum balance requirements. Apple Card Savings terms

- Interest can accrue on Daily Cash deposited into Savings and on deposits from Apple Cash or a linked external bank account.
- Setting up Savings sends future Daily Cash to the account, but customers can change where Daily Cash is directed.

Who can open an account?
Apple Support lists these requirements: an active Apple Card account as owner or co-owner; an iPhone running current iOS; age 18 or older; a Social Security number or ITIN; U.S. residence with a valid physical U.S. address; and two-factor authentication. Apple and Chase announced on January 7, 2026, that Chase would become the Apple Card issuer, with the transition expected to take approximately 24 months. Apple said customers could continue using Apple Card normally during the transition and identified Goldman Sachs Bank USA as the Savings provider.
