The reported “up to 36% off” applied to a first-generation AirTag four-pack—not AirPods Pro 3. HotHardware reported that bundle at $63, saving $36, and AirPods Pro 3 at $199.99 in a March 18, 2026 deal story. Those are dated offers, not confirmed prices today. A later October 4, 2026 roundup reported AirPods Pro 3 at $179; check the current price, seller, model, and availability before buying.
What was discounted—and by how much?
The headline covers two separate products and discounts. The maximum discount belonged to the first-generation AirTag four-pack, while the AirPods Pro 3 offer was reported at a lower percentage.

These are dated deal reports, not a market-wide price study or evidence of a durable discount. The cited reports do not establish that any retailer offer remains available now.
How to compare the offers before spending
- Match the AirTag generation: the 36%-off report was for a first-generation four-pack; the separate $24 deal report concerned one second-generation AirTag.
- Compare pack size as well as unit price: Apple’s U.S. listing showed $29 for one AirTag and $99 for four. A bundle and a single tracker are not directly comparable without accounting for how many you need.
- Check the live listing: confirm the price at checkout, the seller, the exact model, and whether the item is in stock. A dated roundup is not a guarantee of today’s offer.
- For AirPods, weigh features against the price: a lower price matters most if the noise cancellation, listening-time claim, heart-rate sensing, or hearing features suit your needs.
What Apple lists at its U.S. prices
AirPods Pro 3
Apple’s U.S. listing showed AirPods Pro 3 at $249. Apple describes active noise cancellation, heart-rate sensing, and hearing features. It also claims up to eight hours of listening time with ANC enabled under its stated conditions; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test result.

Apple’s U.S. listing showed AirTag at $29 for one or $99 for four. Apple says setup requires an Apple Account and an iPhone running iOS 26 or later, or an iPad running iPadOS 26 or later.
Should you buy based on the headline?
Use the headline as a pointer to a reported sale, not as proof of a current bargain. The strongest reason to consider the historical AirTag offer was its reported price for four first-generation trackers; the later second-generation deal was a separate single-unit offer. For AirPods Pro 3, the reports put the product at $199.99 in March and $179 in October, against Apple’s $249 U.S. listing. Whether either price is worthwhile depends on the current listing and whether you value the product’s features.
