Apex Fusion announced the launch of its PRIME Chain and AP3X token on February 20, 2025. The announcement marked the claimed launch of PRIME, a UTXO-based proof-of-stake base layer, and introduced AP3X as the network’s token. It did not establish that every part of the project’s wider multi-chain roadmap was live or independently verified. For anyone considering buying, staking, or bridging AP3X, that distinction matters: the token’s risks depend on delivery, liquidity, token distribution, and bridge security as well as its stated uses.
What Apex Fusion announced
In a February 20, 2025 press release from Zug, Switzerland, Apex Fusion said PRIME Chain had launched and described AP3X as the ecosystem’s native token. The project presented PRIME as the foundation of a planned system connecting UTXO-based networks with EVM-compatible infrastructure. The release named LBank as the initial exchange listing and said AP3X would be used for staking, network security, governance, and transaction fees. It also outlined VECTOR, NEXUS, and Reactor Bridge as parts of the broader architecture; those references should not be read as proof that every component was live on launch day. Read the announcement.
The release reported more than 130 stake-pool operators and an initial yield of about 10% annually. Those are project-reported launch-era figures, not independently established current measures. A later listing announcement cited more than 180 operators, illustrating why operator counts need a date and source. The later MEXC announcement is also a listing milestone, not evidence by itself of network adoption.
What PRIME Chain is designed to do
Apex Fusion describes PRIME as a UTXO-based Layer 1 and the system’s security, consensus, and staking layer. The project says it uses Ouroboros proof of stake and liquid staking, and that AP3X is minted on PRIME. Its role is different from that of a general-purpose smart-contract chain: the planned Layer 2 networks are intended to handle lower-cost activity and EVM applications, while PRIME anchors security and staking. The project’s materials also say PRIME fees are higher than those of the proposed L2s, consistent with that division of roles. See the litepaper and Apex Fusion overview.

How the three-chain design is supposed to work
| Network | Model | Intended role | AP3X form |
|---|---|---|---|
| PRIME | UTXO Layer 1 | Security, consensus, staking, and token issuance | Native AP3X |
| VECTOR | UTXO Layer 2 | Faster, lower-cost UTXO activity | AP3X within the Apex system |
| NEXUS | EVM-compatible Layer 2 | Smart contracts and Ethereum-compatible applications | AP3X within the Apex system |
This is the project’s documented design, not a single claim that all three networks and applications were fully deployed and widely used when PRIME was announced. For network status, readers should distinguish an announcement, documentation, testnet access, mainnet deployment, and demonstrated usage. The Apex Fusion basics documentation describes the architecture.
What AP3X is intended to do
Apex Fusion’s documentation assigns AP3X several proposed network roles: paying transaction fees, delegating stake, supporting network security and governance, moving value across Apex chains, and participating in applications, ecosystem funding, and reputation-related mechanisms. These are intended uses, not evidence that every use is active or widely adopted. Calling AP3X a utility token does not establish that it is safe, profitable, legally approved in every jurisdiction, or appropriate for a particular person. The project’s current documentation uses AP3X as the public-facing ticker; older material also uses “APEX,” which can be confused with unrelated assets. Check the network and asset identity rather than relying on the name alone. Token documentation.

How delegation works and what the quoted APY means
The Foundation’s delegation guide advertises 10% APY, but that is a project-published, variable reward indication—not a guaranteed return. Delegation may produce AP3X rewards while the token’s market value falls, and actual results depend on protocol conditions and pool performance.
- Use a compatible wallet and obtain AP3X on the correct network. The Foundation’s illustrated setup uses Eternl.
- Switch the wallet to APEX Fusion Prime Mainnet and select a stake pool.
- According to the guide, delegation is liquid: the delegated AP3X remains in the wallet rather than being locked in the usual sense.
- The guide says the initial deposit is 2 AP3X and the transaction fee is approximately 0.17 AP3X. Both figures are operational details that can change.
- The guide says first rewards typically arrive after about 15–20 days, then every five days if the pool produces blocks; rewards are added automatically to the delegated balance.
These steps and figures are stated in the official delegation guide. Liquid delegation does not remove price volatility, validator underperformance, wallet or protocol bugs, exchange withdrawal problems, or the possibility that selling incurs slippage.

Supply, issuance, and unlocks
Apex Fusion documentation states a total and maximum supply of 3 billion AP3X. It also describes post-genesis block rewards on PRIME. A stated maximum supply is not the same as saying every token is already circulating: maximum supply, unlocked supply, circulating supply, and rewards distributed over time are different measures. The token documentation and the project’s tokenomics document describe allocations for the foundation, contributors, development teams, investors, community and ecosystem incentives, grants, liquidity, and ecosystem funding.
The January 2025 tokenomics document describes a one-year linear distribution for pre-seed investors and three-year linear distributions for seed investors and team and other stakeholder allocations. That schedule does not establish how much had actually unlocked by August 18, 2026. Readers assessing supply pressure need current, verifiable circulating and unlock data; the stated cap alone cannot answer that question.

Where AP3X is listed and which wallets are named
The original release named LBank for the February 2025 launch. The Foundation’s AP3X page lists LBank, Coinstore, MEXC, and BitMart; later announcements documented MEXC and BitMart listings. Listings and trading access can change by date and jurisdiction, and they do not demonstrate liquidity or project adoption. Before transferring funds, check the exchange’s own AP3X market page for the exact network, trading pair, deposit and withdrawal status, and applicable restrictions. The project’s AP3X page lists its referenced exchanges and wallets; listing coverage includes BitMart.
The Foundation names Eternl, Route3, and Gero as wallets. For Nexus, developer documentation provides MetaMask-compatible settings: network Apex Fusion – Nexus Mainnet, RPC URL https://rpc.nexus.mainnet.apexfusion.org, Chain ID 9069, currency symbol AP3X, and explorer https://nexus.apexscan.org. These are exact settings published in the Nexus wallet integration documentation; recheck that page before configuring a wallet. A wrong network, RPC endpoint, token contract, or destination can lead to lost funds. Start from official project links and verify wallet publishers to reduce phishing risk.

Native and wrapped AP3X are not interchangeable
AP3X is issued on PRIME, while representations are documented on other networks. The project lists native AP3X on Prime, Vector, and Nexus, plus cAP3X on Cardano, bAP3X on Base, and bnAP3X on BNB Smart Chain. A matching ticker-like name does not make assets on different chains interchangeable. Sending a wrapped token to a native-chain address—or using an unsupported route—can strand funds. Verify the asset, destination network, and bridge route in the official Skyline Bridge documentation and token documentation before signing. Do not rely on an address copied from an old post or an unverified search result.
Reactor and Skyline are different bridge arrangements
Reactor Bridge
Reactor is described as a two-way bridge between PRIME and the VECTOR and NEXUS layers. Its technical overview describes assets being locked on one chain and released on another, with locked funds held through a multisig address or smart contract controlled by bridge validators. That creates reliance on the bridge’s validators, custody and contract design, and recovery process if transfers fail. “Two-way” or convenient transfers do not mean trustless or risk-free transfers. Review the Reactor technical overview and architecture documentation before using it.
Skyline Bridge
Skyline is documented as third-party infrastructure for transfers between the Apex ecosystem and Cardano, Base, and BNB Smart Chain. Apex Fusion’s documentation says Skyline is developed and operated by the Skyline Foundation, and that Apex Foundation does not own, control, supervise, or assume responsibility for it. Treat its custody, contracts, route availability, fees, and recovery arrangements as separate from Reactor’s. Check the official bridge documentation and the bridge interface before approving a transfer.
How to assess AP3X before using or buying it
- Confirm live network status: Check official mainnet explorers and network labels for PRIME, VECTOR, and NEXUS. A testnet explorer is not evidence of mainnet activity; the project warns that testnet tokens have no monetary value. See its testnet guide.
- Look for use beyond trading and staking: Assess whether functioning applications, transaction activity, and users support the stated utility.
- Check supply and unlock data: Determine what is circulating and what may be released, rather than treating the 3-billion maximum as the circulating amount.
- Evaluate staking economics: Treat the advertised APY as variable and consider how protocol rewards, pool performance, and token-price changes affect the outcome.
- Consider validator concentration: Operator counts alone do not show how much stake is concentrated among a small number of pools.
- Understand bridge assumptions: Identify who controls locked assets, what security model applies, and what happens if a route or bridge stops working.
- Verify liquidity and access: Confirm current market depth, withdrawal availability, and jurisdictional access on the exchange itself.
- Consider legal and tax rules: A project’s utility-token description is not a binding legal determination for every country or state.
Market figures need a timestamp and provider
Market-data figures for AP3X are volatile and providers can disagree. A CoinGecko result captured shortly before August 18, 2026 reported an indicative price around $0.01479–$0.01504 and approximately 1.745 billion circulating AP3X, while Coinbase’s page showed no usable circulating-supply figure and a market capitalization of zero. Those snapshots are not current quotes and should not be treated as directly comparable without checking timing and methodology. See CoinGecko’s AP3X page and Coinbase’s page for their own presentations. A fresh, timestamped market check is necessary before relying on price, supply, or capitalization figures.
