AP POLYCET 2025 applications were reportedly accepted through April 17, 2025, after the deadline was moved from April 15. That deadline has passed; this is a historical notice, not an invitation to apply now. News reports directed applicants to polycetap.nic.in, but the availability of a 2025 application form there has not been verified.
What changed in the AP POLYCET 2025 application deadline?
The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh, was identified as the authority that extended the application deadline from April 15 to April 17, 2025. Hindustan Times reported that applications opened on March 12, 2025; Scroll.in also reported the April 17 revised deadline. Hindustan Times · Scroll.in
The reported application destination was polycetap.nic.in. Because the revised deadline and exam date are in the past, the old link should not be treated as an active registration route.
How candidates were told to apply in 2025

Reported exam pattern
Hindustan Times described the 2025 examination as an offline, multiple-choice test with 120 questions: 50 in mathematics, 40 in physics and 30 in chemistry. It reported four marks for each correct answer and no negative marking. The 2025 official bulletin was not available in the retrieved material, so these pattern details are attributed to that report rather than presented as independently verified official rules.

The 2025 deadline and exam date have both passed. The old application link and the 2025 hall-ticket route should not be assumed to work. For a later examination cycle, check the SBTET Andhra Pradesh announcements and the official AP POLYCET portal for that cycle’s notice, dates, eligibility, fee and application instructions. A 2024 brochure surfaced in official search results, but it does not establish the 2025 schedule or current-cycle requirements.
