AP ICET 2024 applications opened online on 6 March 2024, and the no-late-fee deadline was 7 April 2024, according to contemporaneous coverage. That application window and the 6–7 May 2024 examination have passed; this is a historical notice, not an open registration opportunity.
When did AP ICET 2024 registration begin, and when did it close?
Sri Krishnadevaraya University conducted AP ICET 2024 on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). The official notification, dated 1 March 2024, said online applications would commence on 6 March. Scroll reported on 11 March 2024 that candidates could apply without a late fee through 7 April 2024: Scroll’s 2024 registration report.
There is a date discrepancy in the extracted official notification: its no-late-fee line displays “07-04-2023,” which conflicts with the 2024 cycle. The contemporaneous report identifies 7 April 2024 as the deadline; the printed 2023 date should not be treated as the deadline for this cycle. What was the AP ICET application fee?
The 2024 registration fee depended on the applicant’s category. The official notification and instruction booklet listed these amounts:

Payment was online by credit card, debit card or net banking. These are the fees for the 2024 cycle, not a guide to charges for a later AP ICET examination. See the AP ICET-2024 registration instruction booklet.
Who was eligible to apply?
The booklet’s summary said applicants had to be Indian nationals and satisfy the applicable local or non-local status requirements under Andhra Pradesh’s admission rules. They also had to meet the relevant university’s requirements and other criteria under government orders in force at admission.

- Meeting the exam eligibility criteria did not itself guarantee admission; applicable university and government admission rules still governed.
The booklet contains the full conditions. Applicants needed to check those rules and the relevant admission requirements rather than rely on the summary alone.

AP ICET 2024 was for admission to first-year MBA and MCA courses for the 2024–25 academic year. Scroll’s contemporaneous report also gave 28–29 April 2024 as the application correction window and 8 May 2024 as the scheduled preliminary answer-key date; these dates were reported by Scroll, not established by the notification details cited above.

No. The 2024 application and examination cycle is complete. The APSCHE portal has moved on to AP ICET 2026 and reports that its results have been released. Check the APSCHE Common Entrance Tests portal and the current AP ICET page for current-cycle information. Do not infer a later cycle’s dates, eligibility details or fees from the 2024 notice.
