What the 2023 notification offered
The Government of Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department’s Notification No. 01/2023 invited applications for five-year contractual appointments. Its 70 vacancies were divided among three roles:

Eligibility conditions in the notice
The 2023 notification said applicants had to be from Andhra Pradesh and profess the Hindu religion. It set a general upper age limit of 42 years as of 1 July 2023, with a five-year concession for SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates. It also listed specific concessions for ex-servicemen, NCC service, and certain current or former government workers.
These are the conditions and reference date stated in that historical notice. Any individual eligibility assessment would depend on the governing document and the applicant’s circumstances; do not assume these conditions apply to a later recruitment.
Written examination pattern
The notification described an English-medium, OMR-based multiple-choice examination with 100 questions over three hours. Marks were allocated as follows:

For AEE Civil and AEE Electrical, the stated syllabus followed the relevant GATE syllabus, excluding Higher Mathematics. Technical Assistants had a separate syllabus in the notification. The listed exam venue was Vijayawada; candidates were permitted to use a calculator and were required to bring a blue or black ballpoint pen. Historical contract and pay terms
The notice specified a five-year contract. Its stated consolidated monthly pay was ₹35,000 for an AEE and ₹25,000 for a Technical Assistant, with an annual increment of ₹1,000 and additional allowances of ₹2,000 for travel and ₹1,000 for phone. These are terms in the 2023 notification, not a current pay offer.

The application deadline was 5 January 2024. The notice required a paper application with supporting documents, sent to ESCI Recruitment Services in Hyderabad. It also specified a non-refundable ₹500 demand draft payable to “IE(I)-Engineering Staff College of India” at Hyderabad. Those instructions belong to the closed recruitment and should not be used to apply now.
