What is AOMN?
AOMN represents Angel Oak Mortgage REIT, Inc.’s fixed-rate debt security: its 9.500% Senior Notes due 2029. The notes were offered in an aggregate principal amount of $50 million, with a $25 denomination and integral multiples of $25. The issuer’s original term sheet priced them at $25.00 per note; that was the offering price, not a current market quote. Angel Oak Mortgage REIT’s July 18, 2024 pricing term sheet
Unlike common shares, a note represents a debt obligation with stated interest and repayment terms. The notes are senior unsecured obligations, guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by Angel Oak Mortgage Operating Partnership, LP. Unsecured means they are not backed by collateral.
What does the reported $25.28 price mean?
ChartExchange search-result data reported a closing price of $25.28 for October 2, 2026, and a session change of +0.549%. The historical page opened for review showed older data rather than that October 2 record, so the quote is not independently confirmed here. A price observation should be read with its date and source, and it should not be mistaken for a live quote.

The title’s phrase “time weighted price” is not established as a defined market metric by the available price record. No time-weighting method can be inferred from the reported close.
How do AOMN’s interest and maturity work?
The notes carry a stated annual coupon of 9.500% and pay interest quarterly in arrears on January 30, April 30, July 30, and October 30. Their stated maturity is July 30, 2029. At maturity, principal is due subject to the note terms and the issuer’s ability to pay. 2024 pricing term sheet; 2026 quarterly filing
The coupon is not the same as an investor’s yield or total return. A buyer’s yield depends on the price paid, the timing and amount of cash flows, and whether the notes are redeemed early. The coupon also does not guarantee a return or repayment.
Can the issuer redeem the notes before 2029?
Yes. On or after July 30, 2026, Angel Oak Mortgage REIT may redeem all or part of the notes at 100% of principal plus accrued and unpaid interest, provided it gives 30 to 60 days’ notice. An early redemption can change an investor’s expected holding period and cash flows.

What happens after a qualifying change of control?
If a qualifying change-of-control repurchase event occurs, the issuer must offer to repurchase the notes at 101% of principal plus accrued and unpaid interest. The offer right is subject to the conditions in the governing note terms; it is not a general promise to buy back notes whenever an investor wants to sell.
