Treat “anti-theft” as a description of design features—not a guarantee against theft—and check the exact Amazon listing, seller, and specifications before buying.
What to check before choosing a travel crossbody bag
Start with fit, then compare the security features that matter to you. A bag that cannot comfortably hold your travel essentials—or makes them difficult to reach—may not suit your trip, regardless of its feature list.
- Capacity and fit: List what you plan to carry, such as a phone, passport, wallet, water bottle, or tablet. Compare that list with the brand’s published capacity, dimensions, and device-fit claims.
- Closures and attachment: Look for the specific combination offered: securable or locking zippers, locking compartments, and hardware that lets you attach the bag to a fixed object. These are distinct features.
- Cut resistance: Check whether slash-resistant material is described for the body, strap, or both. Construction can vary within a single strap or bag.
- RFID-blocking storage: Treat this as a separate listed feature, not a substitute for secure closures or a guarantee of protection.
- Access and organization: Consider quick-access pockets, internal divisions, key clips, and whether the layout makes it practical to reach items while traveling.
The product descriptions below come from the manufacturers. They establish what each brand says its bag includes; they are not independent comparative tests of theft prevention.
Five manufacturer-documented models to compare
The available product information supports these five candidates, not six. They are presented as a comparison set rather than a ranked list: the cited specifications do not establish which bag offers the strongest theft prevention, and current Amazon availability has not been confirmed.

How to narrow the choices
If tablet fit matters
The Pacsafe GO is the only model in this comparison with a cited tablet-fit claim: Pacsafe lists compatibility with a 7-inch tablet and a 2.5 L capacity. Confirm the dimensions and fit against your particular device and case before purchase.
If you want a water-bottle slot or several access pockets
Travelon lists a water-bottle slot, front and rear access pockets, slip pockets, and a zippered pocket for its Metro Crossbody. Those layout details may matter more than a general “anti-theft” label if you need to reach frequently used items.

If a published capacity figure is useful
Travelon lists 2.75 cubic liters for the Roam’s main compartment. Pacsafe lists 2.5 L for the GO. These figures come from separate manufacturer descriptions and should not be treated as a like-for-like capacity test; check each bag’s dimensions and usable layout for your packing needs.
If strap construction is a deciding factor
Compare the exact wording rather than assuming all straps are built alike. Pacsafe describes slashguard elements for the GO, while its vendor response about the W model specifies slash-resistant wire in the strap’s lower section and notes that the TurnNLock hook is not present on both sides. Travelon describes slash-resistant and lock-down straps on the Metro and Urban, and slash-resistant straps with lock-down hardware on the Roam.

What “anti-theft” does—and does not—establish
These models list measures such as lockable or securable zippers, slash-resistant materials, lock-down or attachment hardware, and RFID-blocking storage. Those features do not prove a bag is theft-proof, and the cited manufacturer pages do not provide an independent comparison showing that one model prevents theft better than another. RFID-blocking pockets are a separately listed feature; their presence should not be read as a claim about protection from physical theft.
