Angus Cloud’s Ex-Assistant Reportedly Sought $115,000 in Unpaid Wages From His Estate

Angus Cloud’s former assistant reportedly claimed that the actor’s estate owed him $115,000 in unpaid compensation. That was only part of the alleged demand: a separate $195,000 commission claim brought the reported total to $310,000. These were disputed claims, not established debts.

Why reports give both $115,000 and $310,000

The figures refer to different parts of the demand. The Blast reported in February 2024 that the former assistant sought $115,000 for services from September 2021 through July 2023, plus $195,000 in alleged commissions tied to brand deals. The two amounts add up to a reported total claim of $310,000. The Blast’s report describes amounts claimed, not a court-verified debt.

Reported amount What it refers to
$115,000 Alleged unpaid compensation for services, according to The Blast’s February 2024 report.
$195,000 Separately alleged commissions, described as 10% of brand-deal compensation, according to the same report.
$310,000 The reported combined demand: $115,000 in compensation plus $195,000 in commissions.

Who made the claim and what did he say he was owed?

Later reporting identified the claimant as Jonathan Kim. In October 2024, a report on his civil complaint said he alleged an oral agreement for $5,000 per month and described duties including administrative work, scheduling, travel arrangements, errands and personal support. Those details are allegations attributed to Kim, not findings about what work was performed or what the parties agreed to pay. theJasmineBRAND’s report relayed the complaint and the estate representative’s response.

What did the estate representative say?

Lisa Cloud’s legal team disputed that an employment contract existed and sought dismissal, according to 2024 reporting. The same report quoted the lawyers’ motion accusing Kim of using the court process to “extort a settlement.” That was the legal team’s advocacy, not a court’s finding. The report quotes the motion and should not be read as establishing the accusation as fact.

Was the case dismissed, and what is known about its status?

PEOPLE reported in May 2025 that Kim’s initial probate claim was rejected in February 2024 and that a civil suit he filed afterward was rejected later in 2024. The report does not provide the court orders needed to determine the precise legal effect of those rejections; they should not be described as a ruling on the merits or a final dismissal with prejudice. PEOPLE’s May 2025 account is the latest case-status reporting cited here. It also reported Lisa Cloud’s estimate that the estate was worth $50,000; that is her reported estimate, not an independently verified valuation.

No reliable docket or primary court order establishes the case’s exact disposition as of October 7, 2026. The available reporting therefore does not establish that the demand was proven, paid, settled, or finally resolved.
