Angeles Equity Partners announced on December 9, 2025, that an affiliate had sold Xanitos Inc. to an affiliate of Bessemer Investors. Bessemer described the completed transaction as a significant investment and said Xanitos CEO Dave Crothall would continue to lead the company. The parties did not disclose financial terms.
Who bought Xanitos, and when did the sale close?
An affiliate of Bessemer Investors acquired Xanitos from an affiliate of Angeles Equity Partners. Both firms announced the transaction on December 9, 2025. Angeles said its affiliate “has sold” the company; Bessemer described the deal as a completed significant investment.
The announcements do not specify the transaction structure beyond those descriptions, and they do not report a purchase price or valuation. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, counsel to Angeles and Xanitos, also stated that financial terms were not disclosed.
What does Xanitos do?
Xanitos provides environmental services and other support for hospitals and ambulatory care facilities in the United States. Its services include housekeeping, patient transport, patient observation, linen services, and infection-prevention support.

The company describes its XRO® System as a differentiated or patented cleaning system. Bessemer also cited XanApps®, a proprietary AI-backed software suite. These are company capabilities associated with its hospital-services business, not consumer products.
What changed under Angeles’ ownership?
Angeles’ portfolio record lists June 2021 as its investment date and 2025 as the exit year. In its sale announcement, Angeles said Xanitos’ revenue and frontline headcount each doubled during its ownership. The announcement gives no starting or ending figures, calculation method, or independent verification for those claims.

Bessemer reported that Xanitos had more than 3,700 team members in its December 9, 2025 announcement. That figure is Bessemer’s reported headcount, rather than a separately verified workforce count.
Angeles described its work with Xanitos as including leadership investment, a strategic shift toward full-service contracts, expansion into additional service lines through acquisitions, customer diversification, and operational improvements.

Who will lead Xanitos, and who advised on the deal?
Bessemer said it would partner with Xanitos’ existing management team and that CEO Dave Crothall would continue to lead the company.
Angeles named Solomon Partners as its financial adviser and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett as legal adviser to Angeles and Xanitos. Bessemer named KeyBanc Capital Markets as financial and capital-markets adviser, Sidley Austin as legal counsel, and MidCap Financial and Stellus Capital Management as debt-financing providers.
