Forbes estimated Andrei Skoch and his family’s net worth at $6.8 billion as of October 7, 2026. That is Forbes’ real-time estimate for “Andrei Skoch & family,” not a verified figure for Skoch’s personal assets alone. Forbes says he is a partner in USM, while his USM shares are held by his father and daughter.

What is Andrei Skoch’s net worth?

Forbes’ profile for “Andrei Skoch & family” showed an estimated net worth of $6.8 billion on October 7, 2026. Forbes labels the source of wealth “Metals and mining” and describes Skoch as a partner in USM. The profile says its real-time figure reflects changes since 5 p.m. ET on the prior trading day, so it may change with market movements. Forbes’ Andrei Skoch profile

The figure should be read with its family scope and date attached. The reviewed sources do not provide a complete, independently verified balance sheet or enough detail to reproduce Forbes’ calculation, so the estimate is not an audited accounting of Skoch’s personal wealth.

Why does Forbes include Skoch’s family?

Forbes says Skoch has served as a member of Russia’s State Duma since 1999 and is not allowed to own stakes in businesses in that role. It says his USM shares are held by his father, Vladimir, and his daughter, Varvara. That description helps explain the “& family” label, but it does not establish that Skoch personally owns directly registered USM shares. Forbes’ Andrei Skoch profile

As a result, the $6.8 billion figure is best described as Forbes’ estimate for Skoch and family interests, rather than a definitive statement of what he personally owns. The public profile does not disclose enough valuation or ownership detail to separate those interests or independently reconcile the total.

What do sanctions and the aircraft valuation tell us?

The U.S. Department of Justice says the Office of Foreign Assets Control designated Skoch in 2018 and further designated him and other State Duma members in 2022. DOJ said the 2018 designation cited his official role and alleged longstanding ties to Russian organized criminal groups; the 2022 designations followed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. These are DOJ’s stated sanctions history and rationale, not a calculation of his wealth. U.S. Department of Justice sanctions release

In an August 8, 2022 release about a seizure warrant, DOJ said an Airbus A319-100 associated with Skoch, tail number P4-MGU, was believed to be worth more than $90 million. That amount refers to one aircraft—not his net worth. DOJ described the warrant as based on alleged violations and said a district court found probable cause for seizure and forfeiture; the aircraft valuation should not be treated as proof of a particular total wealth figure. How to interpret the $6.8 billion estimate

  • Source: Forbes, which identifies metals and mining and describes Skoch as a USM partner.
  • Scope: Forbes’ profile is titled for Skoch “& family”; its editor notes describe USM shares held by his father and daughter.
  • Date: The figure was shown as of October 7, 2026, and Forbes says the real-time estimate can move with market changes.
  • Verification: The profile does not present a complete, publicly reproducible calculation, so the estimate should not be mistaken for an independently audited balance sheet.
