- Age: You are 18–24. Amazon says you can verify your age with a driver’s license, passport, or identity card.
- Higher-education enrollment: You are enrolled at a two- or four-year college. A .edu email address is one verification option; Amazon also lists a current student ID, transcript, or tuition bill as possible proof of enrollment.

How to claim the six-month trial
- Open Amazon’s Prime for Young Adults enrollment page and sign in.
- Select the age or student verification route that applies to you, then submit the requested ID or enrollment proof. Amazon’s page describes government ID for age verification and a .edu email for students; its discounted-membership information also lists student ID, transcript, or tuition bill as enrollment proof.
- Review the trial and renewal terms displayed in your account before accepting. Amazon’s stated offer is six months at $0, followed by $7.49 monthly or $69 annually if you continue. Confirm the renewal date and selected billing option in the enrollment flow.
- If you do not want a paid membership after the trial, use Amazon’s membership settings to cancel before the renewal date and confirm that the cancellation has taken effect.

What happens after the six months?
If you continue, the stated Prime for Young Adults price is $7.49 per month or $69 per year. The annual and monthly options have different billing schedules; choose the option shown in your enrollment flow and note when its charge begins. The six-month period is free, but it does not mean the membership remains free afterward.
