Is Amazon’s October Prime Day sale still running?
No. Space.com reported on October 8, 2026, that the October Prime Big Deal Days event had ended after running October 6–7. This October event is separate from Amazon’s main Prime Day event, which Space.com describes as taking place in June. Read Space.com’s event update for the reported dates and post-event coverage.
Amazon and retailers may keep some discounts available after a sale ends, but that does not mean an item from an earlier roundup is still discounted, in stock, or available on the same terms. Treat any old “last chance” headline as a pointer to check—not evidence of a current offer.
What products appeared in accessible October deal coverage?
Space.com’s post-event coverage ranged across telescopes, cameras, binoculars, lenses, star projectors, drones, books, streaming, Lego, laptops, Apple products, Amazon devices, TVs, headphones, household supplies, and kitchen appliances. That breadth can help you identify categories to browse, but it does not verify current prices or stock.

Its deal prices describe the sale at that time, not offers available now. Tom’s Guide describes the Fire TV Stick HD as connecting to a television’s HDMI port and streaming at 1080p; check the exact model and listing before comparing it with other streaming devices. The specific products and editorial judgments in the Inkl result titled “These are the best deals in Amazon’s Prime Day sale – last chance to buy” cannot be confirmed from the accessible destination. The named examples above come from other accessible coverage and should not be presented as selections from that article.

How to judge whether a lingering deal is worth buying
Compare the offer with the product’s usual recent price and check the details that affect the real cost and usefulness. A large discount label alone does not establish value.
- Exact product: Match the model, generation, size, and included accessories to the item you intend to buy.
- Current price: Compare the listing price with the product’s recent ordinary price, not just a displayed reference price.
- Seller and stock: Confirm who is selling the item and whether it is currently available.
- Prime eligibility: Check whether the offer requires Prime membership; do not assume an event deal remains accessible on the same terms.
- Returns: Read the listing’s return terms before ordering, especially for electronics and appliances.
- Deadline: Treat an end time as valid only if the current listing shows it.
For alternatives, Space.com also pointed readers to deal coverage from Walmart, Best Buy, Adorama, B&H Photo and Video, and Newegg. Compare the same model and account for seller, delivery, and return terms across listings rather than relying on a headline discount.
