It runs October 6–7, 2026, and Amazon says it ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7. That schedule does not support a “this Saturday morning” deal list.
Amazon’s official roundup names ten products worth checking, but it does not establish that they are hidden gems, independently tested bargains, or still discounted later. Treat them as shopping leads: verify the exact variant, live price, stock and price history before buying.
What event is Amazon running, and when does it end?
At the time Amazon published its 2026 event information, the U.S. event was Prime Big Deal Days, a 48-hour promotion running October 6–7. Amazon describes it as a fall kickoff to holiday shopping; it is separate from Black Friday Week. Amazon’s event announcement says the sale ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on October 7 (2:59 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on October 8). Amazon’s event announcement
The supplied Saturday-morning timing does not match that schedule. Amazon says event dates may vary outside the U.S., so shoppers elsewhere should check their local Amazon store rather than assume the U.S. dates or offers apply. Prime Big Deal Days is for Prime members.

How to check whether a deal is worth buying
- Open the exact product listing. Confirm the model, size, color, pack count and other variant details; offers and availability can change.
- Compare the current price with its history. Amazon recommends the product page’s Price History feature, which it says can show up to 365 days of pricing, or Alexa for Shopping. A discount badge by itself does not show whether today’s price is unusually low.
- Check the terms that affect your total. Confirm Prime eligibility, shipping and stock for the exact listing, and compare a suitable alternative or previous generation if one meets the same need.
- Recheck just before checkout. Amazon says limited-time offers last only while supplies remain and that deals and availability are subject to change.
Amazon’s announced schedule for Today’s Big Deals includes drops at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT. These are scheduled release times, not a guarantee that a particular item will be available or discounted at every drop. Amazon’s event details

Amazon says its roundup spans technology, home and kitchen, beauty, fashion, kids and toys, grocery, and fitness. It also claims that more than one million items are at Amazon’s lowest price of the year so far; that is Amazon’s statement, not an independent comparison of market prices. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the list is not a verified “hidden gems” ranking
Amazon’s roundup identifies products and promotional offers, but it does not establish that these ten are unusually good values, independently tested, or still on sale at a later date. No discount percentage should be treated as current without checking the live listing. A sensible buy depends on whether the item fits your needs and whether its exact price compares favorably with its own history and relevant alternatives.
