Amazon’s Game Awards deals were a December 2025 promotion, not a current offer: live-broadcast deals were advertised for up to 24 hours, and contemporary coverage reported that the sale ended December 12, 2025, at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET—or earlier if items sold out. Amazon separately said its broader Game Awards shop would run through December 31, 2025.
How the promotion worked
Amazon announced that it was the official retailer for The Game Awards 2025, which streamed December 11 from Los Angeles. Its announcement said the show would stream on Prime Video and Twitch, with the Prime Video broadcast scheduled for 8–11 p.m. ET. A dedicated shop was slated to offer games, hardware and accessories through December 31, 2025.
There were two different time windows. Amazon said Prime-exclusive offers revealed during the live broadcast would run for up to 24 hours and while supplies lasted. That flash-offer window was not the same as the broader shop period, which Amazon said would continue through December 31. GameSpot’s December 11, 2025, coverage reported a sale cutoff of December 12 at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET, or sooner if items sold out.
So “only 24 hours” described the reported short-lived broadcast offers, not a guarantee that every product in the dedicated shop had the same deadline.

Why the event figures are not sale results
Amazon said The Game Awards 2024 generated more than 154 million livestreams across platforms and more than 11,000 creator co-streams. Those are Amazon’s figures for the prior year’s event, not measurements of the 2025 promotion’s sales, audience or effectiveness.
