What happened to the October Prime Big Deal Days offers?
Amazon described Prime Big Deal Days as a 48-hour shopping event exclusive to Prime members in the United States. It ended at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 (2:59 a.m. EDT on Thursday, October 8). Event dates can differ in other participating countries. Amazon’s event roundup identified deals across technology, home and kitchen, beauty, fashion, kids and toys, grocery, and fitness, but those listings are not confirmation that the offers remain available after the event.

The event roundup named products including the Arlo Essential Indoor Pan Tilt Zoom Security Camera, KitchenAid Ribbed Soft Silicone Oven Mitts 2-pack, Canon Ivy 2 Mini Photo Printer, Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Pro tablet, and LiyLou Walking Pad Treadmill. These were examples for the October event, not verified live discounts for a later weekend.
How to check whether an Amazon deal is worth buying
- Open the product listing and confirm the exact item. Check the model, size, color, bundle, and included accessories; offers may not apply to every configuration.
- Check the current price and Prime eligibility. A product being listed by Amazon does not establish that it is discounted now or that a particular offer is available to your account.
- Review price history. Amazon says its product-page “Price History” feature can show up to 365 days of pricing data. That is Amazon’s description of its own tool, not an independent assessment of whether a price is a good value.
- Check seller, stock, and delivery. Amazon says deal availability can change, and limited-time Today’s Big Deals are available only while supplies last.
- Compare the offer with your needs and budget. A discount label alone does not establish that a product is the best option or that buying it saves money compared with waiting.
Does a Prime membership unlock the event offers?
Amazon said Prime membership was required for Prime Big Deal Days offers. Its 2026 U.S. event roundup listed membership at $14.99 per month or $139 per year and said eligible customers could start a free 30-day trial. Those are the prices and trial terms stated for that event; check Amazon’s current membership page for terms that apply now.

What a verified list of 50 deals would need
A “best” list for a particular weekend requires current checks for every item, rather than carrying forward an expired event roundup. Each entry should be verified against its live product page for the exact model or variant, price, available price history, Prime eligibility, stock, delivery, and offer expiry. Without those checks, the number of items and their deal status cannot be responsibly presented as current.
