Amazon described it as a 48-hour sale for Prime members, with deals across more than 35 categories; its schedule and examples below are useful context, not a promise that an offer is still available.

Amazon said members in 22 countries could shop Prime Big Deal Days during the season, but dates can vary by country. The U.S. dates should not be applied to other Amazon marketplaces; check the event page for your local site.
What were the deal drops and membership rules?
Amazon said “Today’s Big Deals” dropped three times daily during the U.S. event: at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT. Offers were available while supplies lasted. Amazon’s FAQ said a Prime membership was required to access event deals. Its listed U.S. membership price was $14.99 monthly or $139 annually, and it said eligible customers could start a free 30-day trial. Membership prices, trial availability and terms can change, so confirm them directly with Amazon before signing up.

What kinds of deals did Amazon highlight?
Amazon promoted offers across more than 35 categories, including electronics, fashion, beauty, toys, home, kitchen and everyday essentials. It also positioned the event around fall entertaining and decor, Halloween preparation, game-day gatherings and early holiday gifts. These categories describe the sale’s breadth; they do not establish that a particular item was discounted or offered good value.
Amazon’s current deal roundup named examples including an Arlo Essential Indoor Pan Tilt Zoom Security Camera, KitchenAid silicone oven mitts, an amika smoothing set, a kate spade necklace, a Pokémon Squirtle costume, Premier Protein shakes and a LiyLou walking pad treadmill. The roundup’s offers and discount claims were time-sensitive. Since the event has ended, check each product’s live listing for current price and availability rather than relying on an event-period offer.

How can you tell whether an October sale price is worthwhile?
A discount label alone does not show whether a purchase saves money compared with the item’s usual price. Amazon recommends checking the “Price History” feature on a product detail page; Amazon says it can show up to 365 days of pricing data. That is Amazon’s description of its own feature, not an independent verification of a product’s past prices or savings.
- Check the price history. Compare the checkout price with the product’s displayed history, and consider whether the price is meaningfully lower than its recent pattern.
- Confirm the exact product. Match the model, size, generation and included bundle to the item you intended to buy. Similar-looking listings can differ in what is included.
- Review the final terms. Check stock, delivery timing and the price shown at checkout before placing an order.
- Decide based on your needs. A low price is not a saving if you would not otherwise buy the item or if it does not meet your requirements.
Amazon’s announcement said the event included “over one million items at Amazon’s lowest price of the year so far.” That is Amazon’s claim, not an independently verified measure of consumer savings. No independent assessment of realized savings is established here.

What to know after the event
The 2026 U.S. event is finished, so its advertised countdown, drop schedule and limited-time offers no longer describe live availability. For another country or a future event, verify dates and terms on the applicable Amazon site; schedules, membership terms, inventory and prices may differ or change.
