Amazon’s U.S. Prime Big Deal Days 2026 runs October 6–7, but Amazon’s official beauty roundup does not verify the headline claim that deals start at $2. The retailer lists beauty products with advertised discounts, but prices and availability can change; check each live listing before buying.

Amazon’s official roundup features beauty offers across skincare, makeup, fragrance, hair care, grooming and devices. It names products from brands including COSRX, Summer Fridays, medicube, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl’s, amika, T3, BaBylissPRO and La Roche-Posay. The advertised discounts below are Amazon’s event-page claims, not independent product tests or guarantees of value.

When the event ends and who can shop
In the United States, Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days began at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, 2026. Amazon describes it as a 48-hour event and says Prime membership is required for event deals. Dates may differ in other countries; Amazon says the event is available in 22 countries. Today’s Big Deals are limited-time offers that Amazon says drop at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT and remain available only while supplies last. Because the event ends today in the U.S., availability can change quickly; confirm the listing’s live price, seller and stock before checking out.
How to judge whether a beauty discount is worthwhile
- Check the current listing. Confirm the exact product, size or bundle contents, seller, availability and checkout price. An advertised “up to” discount does not establish the price of every variant.
- Compare the price history. Amazon says its product-page Price History feature can show up to 365 days of pricing insights for hundreds of millions of products. Use it to put the current offer in context rather than relying on the discount percentage alone. See Amazon’s explanation of Price History.
- Compare like with like. For skincare or cosmetics, check the same size and formulation; for gift sets, compare the included items; for a tool, compare the same model. A bundle or smaller size can make a headline markdown difficult to compare with a regular single-product price.
- Decide from the total cost and your needs. Check the delivered total and buy only if the item fits your budget and intended use. A sale label does not show that a product is the right choice or the lowest price available.
What the “starting at $2” claim means
The available official Amazon roundup confirms that beauty is part of the event and lists named products with advertised discounts, but it does not substantiate a $2 minimum. Without a current, identifiable listing at that price, treat “starting at $2” as unverified rather than a dependable description of the sale.
