Prime Big Deal Days was Amazon’s fall, Prime-member-exclusive shopping event. Amazon said the 2025 sale spanned more than 35 categories and highlighted products from brands including Bose, Samsung, Apple, Dyson, and LEGO. The event was positioned as a kickoff to holiday shopping. In its announcement, Carmen Nestares, Amazon’s vice president of North America Marketing and Prime Tech, said: “Prime Big Deal Days kicks off the holiday shopping season with exclusive deals for Prime members on must-have items and popular gifts.”

Both were Prime-member-exclusive Amazon sales, but they took place at different times of year. Prime Big Deal Days was the October fall event, while Prime Day was the summer event. For the October 2025 sale, the distinction is primarily one of timing and event name; it should not be read as evidence that one event necessarily had better prices.
