The official announcements confirm examples of Amazon deals, but they do not verify the original roundup’s full 50 offers or any Zappos deals.
When did Amazon’s 2025 Black Friday sale run?
Amazon said its Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday event began at 12:01 a.m. Pacific time on November 20 and ran through December 1, 2025. Black Friday itself fell on November 28. Amazon’s event preview and event explainer describe that schedule.

What kinds of deals did Amazon announce?
The event covered products across devices, seasonal goods, electronics, home, kitchen, fashion, toys, and books. Amazon named items including Kindle Paperwhite and Fire HD tablets. Its November 9, 2025 announcement also advertised up to 55% off select Shark home products, 50% off select Nintendo games, 50% off select NAADAM apparel, up to 50% off select JBL and Canon electronics, and up to 40% off select toys and kitchen essentials. These were maximum discounts on selected products, not category-wide discounts.
Amazon’s announcement and separate deal roundup also named examples such as a Technivorm Moccamaster coffee maker, a Nuwave air fryer, and Beats Solo 4 headphones. Amazon cautioned that deals and availability could change even during the event.

Can the original list of 50 sales be verified?
No. The official Amazon pages establish the event dates and selected Amazon examples, but they do not establish the complete set of 50 items, their retailers, variants, or sale prices promised by the title. They also do not verify any Zappos offer. The roundup therefore cannot responsibly be presented as a complete, current shopping list based on those sources.
What to check before relying on a Black Friday deal list
For a current or future sale, verify the offer on the retailer’s product page and at checkout. A headline discount alone does not establish the final price, availability, or whether the offer fits a particular shopper.

- Confirm the exact product model or clothing and footwear variant, including size and color.
- Check the final checkout price, stock status, shipping costs, and return terms.
- Look for membership, location, or other purchase restrictions.
- For electronics and appliances, compare model numbers and included accessories rather than relying on a similar product name.
Amazon’s pricing statement is not a price guarantee
In its November 9, 2025 announcement, Amazon CEO Doug Herrington said: “We aim to meet or beat other retailers’ prices every day so customers don’t have to spend time comparing prices.” This is Amazon’s description of its pricing approach, not an independently verified guarantee that a particular item will have the lowest price. Amazon’s deal roundup also reported that more than 60% of sales in its store come from independent sellers, most of them small and medium-sized businesses; the cited roundup does not state the statistic’s measurement year.
