When was Amazon Black Friday 2025?
Amazon announced that its U.S. Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deal events would run from November 20 through December 1, 2025, beginning at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on November 20. Amazon’s U.S. announcement was published November 9, 2025.

Amazon UK also announced a November 20–December 1 window. Its November 13 announcement described the Black Friday Week sale as a 12-day event, and a November 20 update introduced daily deal reveals. Amazon UK’s sale announcement and its daily-deal announcement support that description.
What did “12 days” mean?
“12 days” referred to the promotional window, not to Black Friday itself lasting twelve days. Amazon grouped Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday offers into an extended event. The U.S. announcement gave the start time and dates; Amazon UK explicitly called its sale 12 days. That wording should not be taken to mean that every deal was available throughout the entire period.

Which countries and offers did Amazon announce?
The dates were the same in the cited U.S. and UK announcements, but shoppers should use their local Amazon storefront: the announcements do not establish identical start times, inventory, eligibility, or offer terms across countries.
Amazon said the event covered categories including electronics, home, beauty, apparel, groceries, toys, books, and Amazon devices. In the U.S., Amazon promoted more than a million deals and discounts of up to 40% across categories. In the UK, it promoted more than a million products with up to 40% off, and selected Doorbuster products with up to 50% off. These are Amazon’s promotional ceilings, not average savings or proof that a particular shopper could get each advertised offer.

How to prepare for a future Amazon sale
The 2025 event is over. For a later sale, use these checks to judge whether a promotion fits your budget rather than treating a headline discount as a reason to buy.
- Choose the item and set a spending limit. Decide what you need and the maximum price you can afford before browsing. Keep planned purchases separate from impulse buys.
- Check the final checkout price. Compare the price shown in your local storefront, including any delivery charges or applicable taxes, rather than relying only on a discount badge.
- Compare against a reliable price history. A percentage off is meaningful only in relation to the item’s usual price. Check whether the current offer is actually competitive for that specific product.
- Confirm availability and delivery timing. Stock and delivery estimates can affect whether an offer is useful, especially if you need an item by a particular date.
- Recheck the terms before ordering. Confirm that the offer applies to the item, account, and region you intend to use, and review the checkout total before placing the order.
What the 2025 announcements do—and do not—establish
Amazon’s announcements establish the planned dates, categories, and advertised maximum discounts. They do not establish average shopper savings, independently verified price reductions, or whether every promoted product was available to every customer. The event window has passed; the cited announcements do not give dates for a future Amazon Black Friday sale.
