Amazon’s U.S. Big Spring Sale ran March 25–31, 2025, and has ended. It was open to all customers; only selected offers were exclusive to Prime members and marked with a “Prime Spring Deal” badge. Available sources do not verify 50 specific products as Prime-exclusive, so this historical guide identifies what the event offered without presenting an unsupported list of 50 member-only deals.
When was Amazon’s Big Spring Sale?
Amazon’s 2025 U.S. Big Spring Sale ran for seven days, from March 25 through March 31. Amazon said it covered more than 35 categories and advertised discounts of up to 40% on select items. That was a maximum promotional claim, not a typical saving or a discount that applied to every product. The event’s dates, scope and terms were described in Amazon’s 2025 announcement.

The event is over. Historical deal coverage can help identify products that appeared in sale roundups, but it does not establish today’s price, availability or eligibility for a current promotion.
Did you need Prime to shop the sale?
No. Amazon said all customers could shop Big Spring Sale, while selected discounts were reserved for Prime members. The company’s announcement put it this way: “While all customers can shop Big Spring Sale, Prime members can look for the ‘Prime Spring Deal’ badge to find exclusive savings only available to members.”
#1 Best Overall
- Amazon.com Gift Cards never expire and carry no fees.
- Multiple gift card designs and denominations to choose from.
- Redeemable towards millions of items store-wide at Amazon.com or certain affiliated websites.
- Available for immediate delivery. Gift cards sent by email can be scheduled up to a year in advance.
- No returns and no refunds on Gift Cards.
That distinction matters: the sale as a whole was not Prime-only. A product appearing in a general sale roundup does not, by itself, show that its deal was exclusive to Prime members.
Which products appeared in historical sale coverage?
Kiplinger’s retrospective coverage included products from several categories. These are examples from its roundup, not a verified set of Prime-exclusive deals:

- Other categories: headphones, smartwatches and security cameras.
Amazon’s event announcement highlighted fashion, beauty, outdoor furniture, garden supplies and end-of-season Amazon Outlet deals. Historical product roundups also show that coverage extended to appliances, travel gear, audio, wearables, smart-home products and televisions. Category or roundup inclusion should not be mistaken for proof of a particular product’s Prime-only status.
Why isn’t this a verified list of 50 member-only deals?
The “50 best” promise cannot be substantiated from the available dated sources. Amazon’s retrospective was a “100+ best deals” roundup with a broader mix of sale items; it does not establish that 50 specific products were Prime-exclusive. Independent historical coverage also does not verify that exact count. Calling all 50 items member-only would overstate what the evidence shows.

To establish that an individual offer was exclusive, a dated record would need to show the product and its “Prime Spring Deal” badge or otherwise document its member-only terms. A historical listing without that evidence can support saying that a product was covered during the sale, but not that only Prime members could get its deal.

Historical prices and discount percentages are not current shopping guidance. They can change after a promotion ends, and the same product name may no longer point to the same model or listing. Before buying any item found in an old roundup, check the exact model, current listing, price and terms. The products named above are historical examples, not present-day recommendations or promises of availability.

- Gift Card is redeemable towards millions of items storewide at Amazon.com
- Gift Card has no fees and no expiration date
- Gift Card is nested inside a specialty gift box

Nor does Amazon’s “up to 40% off” claim establish what shoppers generally saved: it applied to select items and was Amazon’s advertised maximum. No independent savings statistic is established by the cited event coverage.
