Amad Diallo signed a new Manchester United contract in January 2025 that runs through June 2030. The reported £90,000-a-week pay increase has not been confirmed by the club or the BBC reports cited here, and no verified salary baseline is available to calculate his new wage.
Did Amad Diallo sign a new Manchester United contract?
Yes. Manchester United announced in January 2025 that Diallo had signed a new contract through June 2030. The BBC reported the signing on 9 January, and the Premier League published the club’s announcement.
Before the announcement, BBC Sport’s Simon Stone reported on 6 January that the club expected to confirm the long-term deal later that week. That was a pre-signing update; the subsequent reports confirmed that Diallo had signed. See the 6 January BBC report.
Is the £90,000-a-week pay increase confirmed?
No. The £90,000-a-week increase appears in the indexed GiveMeSport headline and excerpt, but the excerpt does not identify a salary source or explain how the figure was calculated. The GiveMeSport item is evidence that the figure was reported, not that it was disclosed or verified by Manchester United.

The club announcement, BBC coverage and Premier League republication confirm the contract and its term, but do not state Diallo’s wages. No sourced salary baseline is established in those reports, so the headline figure cannot be used to work out his new weekly wage.
What Diallo and Manchester United said
In the BBC’s 9 January report, Diallo said: “I am really proud to have signed this new contract.” The same report quoted Manchester United technical director Jason Wilcox: “Everyone is delighted with Amad’s development; his quality on the ball, versatility and determination makes him a key part of the future of Manchester United.”
