What the Level-I result means for Ph.D. admission
A Level-I result or score card is not confirmation of final selection or admission. The University said Level-II would be conducted separately by the respective departments or centres. Qualified candidates’ candidature was subject to scrutiny and document verification by the relevant department, centre or institute; candidates were advised to monitor University and department websites for Level-II information.
The University’s CRET-2024 notice index records subsequent departmental Level-II result and admission notices during 2025. Applicants should check the relevant notices for later-stage decisions rather than treating a Level-I score card as an admission offer.

How many subjects and seats were reported for CRET-2024?
The University’s 19 November release concerns 27 subjects whose Level-I results were declared in that announcement. Those seat figures are Scroll’s reported context, not figures in the University’s result announcement.
