The menu included turkey, gravy, rolls, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, and ingredients for cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie. ALDI’s announcement framed the offer as a low-cost way to assemble a holiday meal.
Martha Stewart’s October 17, 2024 account specifies a 16-pound Butterball turkey and also lists spices. The basket was not a ready-to-serve meal: shoppers bought groceries to prepare the dishes themselves. Martha Stewart’s itemized description provides that additional detail.
How much did the 2024 offer cost per person?
ALDI said its 2024 basket cost less than $47 for 10 people—less than $4.70 per person when the basket total is divided evenly. That is the announced basket estimate, not a guaranteed bill for every shopper; it does not account for differences in local availability or what a household already has in its pantry.

How did the 2025 ALDI Thanksgiving basket compare?
ALDI’s next seasonal announcement in the material available was for 2025. The retailer said a basket for 10 cost $40, or $4 per person, using a 14-pound Jennie-O turkey and the items in its stated basket. Prices were effective October 15 through December 24, 2025, and ALDI noted that online prices could vary by area. The ingredients and turkey assumptions differed from the 2024 basket, so the two totals are not a like-for-like price comparison.
